     Joseph C. Fitzpatrick was born on 27 September 1893 at Pierce Co. (probably), WI. He was the son of Michael Paul Fitzpatrick and Anna M. Corcoran.¹ Joseph C. Fitzpatrick married Mabel May Van Brocklin, daughter of Manley Orton Van Brocklin and Elizabeth Alice Triem. Joseph C. Fitzpatrick died in June 1978 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., WA, at age 84.

     Joseph G. Fitzpatrick Jr. was born circa 1918 at Washington.¹ He was the son of Joseph C. Fitzpatrick and Mabel May Van Brocklin.¹

     Julia Clare Fitzpatrick was also known as "Judy". She was born on 1 September 1918 at Moline, Rock Island Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Miles L. Fitzpatrick and Matilda Koberg.¹ Julia Clare Fitzpatrick married Homer W. Beck on 4 May 1940 at Storm Lake, Buena Vista Co., IA. Julia Clare Fitzpatrick died on 15 May 2005 at Ft. Julia Claire "Judy" FizPatrick was born on Sept. 1, 1917, the daughter of Miles and Mathilda FitzPatrick in Illinois. Judy graduated from Storm Lake High School. On May 4, 1940, Judy married Homer W. Beck in Storm Lake. In 1939, Homer began the Storm Lake Reminder and Stationery Store, which they owned and operated for 27 years. In 1962 they sold the business to Ralph and Dorothy Davis. Judy worked as a bartender for Moose Lodge in Storm Lake. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and going on cruises.

Preceding Judy in death were her parents and her husband Homer on March 8,1991.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda and her husband Michael Kitchen of Marion, Ind; eight grandchildren, Curtis and his wife Trich Firebaugh of Reno, Nev., Craig and his wife Julie Firebaugh of Phoenix, Ariz., Larry and his wife Zebbie Firebaugh of Sacramento, Calif., Lonie Firebaugh of Tampa, Fla., Mary Ann Firebaugh of Reno, Nev., Michael Firebaugh of Reno, Nev., Sheldon Firebaugh of Gas City, Ind. and Cory and his wife Misty Firebaugh of Reno, Nev; and 12 great-grandchildren.

     Maria Catherine Fitzpatrick was born circa 1864 at Champaign Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of William S. Fitzpatrick and Lucinda Lemon.¹ Maria Catherine Fitzpatrick lived on 18 June 1880 at Mad River Twp., Champaign Co., OH, servant in the household of John Croft.² She married Solomon Marion Myers, son of Benjamin Myers and Malinda Rinker, on 27 August 1885 at Clark Co., OH, no further evidence for this couple found after the 1888 newspaper mention of Solomon Myers.      Mary Fitzpatrick was born on 16 March 1816 at Ohio.¹ She married John B. Stouffer, son of Jacob Stauffer and Susanna Egle, on 24 April 1836 at Columbiana Co., OH. Mrs. Mattie McEvoy

Mrs. Mattie McEvoy, 84, died at her home, 30 Briarwood Ave., Normal, at 9:15 a.m. Friday. She had been ill for six months.

Visitation will begin at 7 o’clock tonight at the Carmody Funeral Home. Mrs. McEvoy will be taken Sunday to the Hennessey and Van Cleave Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Church in Missouri Valley. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery there.

The former Mattie Fitzpatrick was born in Green (sic) County, Iowa, Dec. 18, 1871, a daughter of the late Patrick and Josephine Rhodes (sic) Fitzpatrick. She and Richard McEvoy, who preceded her in death, were married in 1901 in Greene County.

Mrs. McEvoy had lived in Normal since 1950. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church.

Surviving Mrs. McEvoy are one son, Dr. Leonard McEvoy of Hollywood, Calif; one daughter, Miss Dorothy McEvoy of the Briarwood Avenue address; one brother, Charles Fitzpatrick of Churdan, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. B. F. Hall of Omaha, Neb., and two grandchildren.

In addition to Mrs. McEvoy’s husband, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

     Patrick M. Fitzpatrick was born on 8 March 1836 at County Carlow, Ireland; son of Myles Joseph and Juliet (?) Fitzpatirick.¹ He married Josephine Rhoad, daughter of Samuel Rhoad and Martha McCurdy, on 9 January 1870 at Boone Co., IA. Patrick M. Nicholson in 1898 and had two children with him.
