Knickmeyer, age 96, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in the loving arms of her family. She was born July 29, 1907, in McFarland, to Herman and Anna (Skogen) Aaroen. Jensina was united in marriage to Frank Knickmeyer on June 1, 1929, in Rockford, Ill., and they enjoyed 63 years together. She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church. She held many jobs in her lifetime and retired from Demco Library Supply in 1972. Jensina is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Richard) Thayer of Madison; five grandchildren, Kristy (Gordon) Meicher of Waunakee, Kenneth Nabholz of McFarland, Vicki Nabholz of Oxnard, Calif., Karen (Mark) Zimmerman of Racine, and Sharon (Ken) Woodford of Fitchburg; and nine great-grandchildren, Jenny, Cindy and David Meicher, Brandon, Jake, Zachary and Grant Zimmerman, Leanna and Megan Woodford. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son-in-law, Paul Nabholz; eight brothers; and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at 11 a.m., at ZION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2165 Linden Ave., Madison. Friends may call on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Henry William Abbate
