Kenneth E. Fogle, 88 of Salesville, passed away Saturday (Oct 10, 2009) at is residence. He was born on April 24, 1921 in Noble County to the late Walter and Jane (Morrison) Fogle. Mr. Fogle served in the 123 AAA Gun Battalion in World War II, the European Theatre from 1943-1945, under the command of George Patton.
He retired from Randall Plastice in 1984, and was a long time farmer. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed coon hunting, watching football, making apple butter in the fall with his family and woodworking. He was a member of Middlebourne Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Virginia Faye (Watson) Fogle, whom he married on Nov. 29, 1941, and who passed away Sept 2, 1976; three brothers, Carl, Richard and Donald Fogle; two sisters, Norreen Bates and Ileen Fogle; and stepson, John W. Carter.
