Funeral for Jesse Fulkerson, 45, prominent farmer who lived near Fordtown, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Kendricks Creek church with the Rev. Ray Rowland and the Rev. Fred Watson scheduled to officiate.

She had spent her life in Sullivan County, and was a member of Rock Springs Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ben Overbay; three sons, Daniel of Kingsport, Orville of Baltimore, Md., and Melvin of Kansas City, Kansas; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin Bach of Kingsport; one step-daughter, Mrs. Wade Sherfey of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Boyd, Miss Stella Fulkerson of Piottsburg, Mo., and Mrs. Rosalee Moore of Jonesboro; one brother, Abe Fulkerson of Iowa.
She was the former Maude Fulkerson, daughter of the late Thomas J. and Florence Devault Fulkerson of Sullivan County.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kenderick's Creek methodist Church. The Rev. Kenner Baldwin, the Rev. Roland Light and the Rev. Elmer Adkins will officiate. Burial will be in Kenderick's Creek Cemetery.
The body was removed from Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home to the residence at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
She was buried in February 1956 at Kendrick's Creek Methodist Church Cemetery, Kendrick's Creek, Sullivan Co., TN.

Fuller was also known as Albert; he was "Albert" in 1880 and 1900, then "Allan" in 1913 when he married Josie Vaughn, and thereafter.1 He was born in May 1870 at Oneida, Knox Co., IL, "Alla" was listed as a female on the 1870 census, one month old, with the annotation "May". Albert/Allen Fuller's relationship with his parents is best documented by his 1913 Iowa marriage record, where his parents are listed as "W. E. Fuller" and "Amanda Spence". Mother of Six Sons
Arrie Jane Fuller was born in Saybrook, Ohio, on Feb. 27, 1862, the only daughter of Josiah and Caroline Fuller. On April 7, 1884, she was married to Adelbert A. Fox at Kingsville, Ohio, and resided near Kingsville until 1898 when they moved to Michigan. To this union wsa born six sons; Dr. J. A., of Wingham, Ontario; George W., of Battle Creek; Charles D., at home, and A. Roy, Edwin L., and Marion A., of Athens. These boys were her pride and joy and she devoted her whole life to them and to her husband. On July 13, this year, she had the misfortune to fall and break her hip, and although no effort was spared to save her, the shock was too great, and she passed away on August 4, with her husband and five of her beloved sons at the bedside. She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband, her six sons, seven grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. W. W. Gadd in charge. Burial in Burr Oak cemetery.
She was buried in August 1938 at Burr Oak Cemetery, Athens, Calhoun Co., MI, Findagrave #84156907.

Fuller and Charlotte Post. Benjamin Fuller married Anna Hewitt.4 Benjamin Fuller lived in August 1850 at Lyme, Jefferson Co., NY, laborer, apparently recently married to the 19-year old Ann. He lived adjaced to a blacksmith who also had a son and another employee in his shop and living in his household, and considering Benjamin's later profession, he was probably an apprentice or employee there.
