"Died in Lee County, Miss., on Friday evening, January 16th, 1885, Mrs. Elizabeth Ivanona Gamble , wife of Dr. W. G. Gamble, aged 41 years and 4 days....Iva was a daughter of James W. and Mrs. E. D. (Richey) Agnew, and was born in Due West, S. C., January 12th, 1844. While she was yet a child, her parents removed from S. C. to Lincoln County, Tenn., and from thence, in 1855, to Tishomingo (now Prentiss) County, Miss., into the bounds of Bethany church. Her father died in 1856, leaving her and seven other children … Iva Agnew Gamble was married on September 17th 1872… She was the mother of seven children, three of whom preceded her in death..."

     Vincent R. Aguilar was born on 27 March 1960. He died in October 1979 at age 19.

     Solomon Aichele was born on 16 March 1916 at Robinson, Kidder Co., ND. He married Lorraine Katheryn Krieg on 14 September 1941 at Walla Walla Co., OR. Solomon Aichele began military service WW II service, U.S. Army, PFC. He died on 22 March 1972 at Portland, Clackamas Co., OR, at age 56

He married Lorene Katheryn Krieg on September 14, 1942 in Milton-Freewater, Umatilla Co., Oregon. After his military service, he went to work at the Pendleton Woolen Mills in Portland as a patern cutter. He later started his own landscaping business and became quite sucessful. He died of a heart attack at age 56.

He was buried in 1972 at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah Co., OR, Findagrave #32617058.

     Eugene Aickelin married Viola Bollenbacher, daughter of August Frederick Bollenbacher and Anna Katherina Liesendahl.

Sept 12, 1934 - Carroll Daily - Mrs L.L. Thomas of Pasadena, CA, mother of Clarence Thomas, died yesterday noon after an illness of several weeks. Death was due to old age and complications.

The body will arrive here Friday and the funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Huffman funeral home, the Rev. Henry Schneider, officiating. Burial will be made in the local cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas left Carroll about six years ago to make her home in Pasadena, Calif., with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Allen. She is survived by two sons, Clarence of Carroll, and Chauncey of Pasadena, and one daughter, Ella, Mrs. Ray Allen of Pasadena. Her husband died May 29, 1915 in Carroll.

She was buried in September 1934 at Carroll City Cemetery, Carroll, Carroll Co., IA, Findagrave #67720047.
