Private graveside services for Mrs Gertrude Gindling Harlow, 94, of ---- NW 22, will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Guardian Watts Funeral Home. Mrs Harlow died Sunday at Baptist Medical Center. She was born at Montgomery Co, IL, and came to Oklahoma City as a child.

She was a member of the Art League, the Book Review Club, Town Hall and First Presbyterian Church. She was Oklahoma Mother of the Year in 1959.

Survivors include three sons, Dr James G Harlow, Morgantown, WV; John H Harlow, Ardmore; and Bryce N Harlow, Arlington, VA; stepson, William Van Harlow, Amarillo, TX; daughter, Dorothy Ice, Sun City, AZ; daughter-in-law, Mrs Victor Harlow Jr, OKC; sister, Mrs Juanita Meyers, Inginitis, CA; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Kingfisher College Fund, University of Oklahoma. The fund was established by her husband, Victor Harlow Sr, who was at one time president of Kingfisher College. When the college closed, he formed a trust which was to be given to the philosophy department at Oklahoma University for the purpose of teaching religion.
