Bowers and Sarah Jane Elkins. Ira William Grossnickle died on 4 November 1986 at Preble Co., OH, at age 79. GROSSNICKLE, John Frederick, age 84 formerly of New Lebanon and West Alexandria, passed away Thurs. April 14, 2016 in Eaton. He was born in Montgomery County, OH. on March 4, 1932 to Ira and Louise (Bowers) Grossnickle. John was a 1950 graduate of West Alexandria High School. He was a member of West Alexandria Church of the Brethren. He worked in plumbing and construction most of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Good) Grossnickle, Eaton, OH., 3 children, Daryl (Bev) Grossnickle, Piqua, OH., John Alan (Deborah) Grossnickle, Brookville, OH., Susan (Terrence) Kloth, New Lebanon, OH., 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a sister, Alice (Bob) Marcum, West Alexandria, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M. Thurs. April 21, 2016 at West Alexandria Church of the Brethren with Rev. Brody Rike officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

     John Ira Grossnickle was born on 27 July 1878. He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Grossnickel and Amanda Horning.¹ John Ira Grossnickle married Myrtle Ivy Robertson, daughter of Elisha A. Robertson and Anna Catherine Anderson, on 28 January 1904 at Indiana.¹ John Ira Grossnickle died on 28 January 1956 at age 77. He was buried in 1956 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Ft.      Pearl Albert Grossnickle was born on 12 September 1880.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Grossnickel and Amanda Horning.¹ Pearl Albert Grossnickle married Eva A. Brower, daughter of William Claude Brower and Mary Catherine Stroop.¹ Pearl Albert Grossnickle lived in 1926 at West Alexandria, Montgomery Co., OH.¹ He died in 1958.      Albert Erich Groth was born on 27 May 1921 at Illinois; son of Erich and Carrie May (Dowd) Groth. He married Mary Margaret Mattson, daughter of Frank Earl Mattson and Helen L. Berry. Albert Erich Groth died on 9 July 1985 at age 64. He was buried in July 1985 at Winton Cemetery, Winton, Merced Co., CA.

     Charles E. Grotjan was born on 10 October 1917 at Lancaster Co., NE.¹ He was the son of Theodore Samuel Grotjan and Bessie Marie Sherman.¹ Charles E. Grotjan married Charlotte Lillian Meyers, daughter of Edward H. Meyers and Mary Rebecca Rhodewald. Charles E.
