     Sarah Elizabeth Hall was born on 3 January 1877 at Brush Prairie, Clark Co., WA.¹ She married George Wesley Baker in 1893.¹ Sarah Elizabeth Hall died on 22 February 1963 at Salem, OR, at age 86.

     Sarah Isabel Hall was born in March 1862 at Knox Co., OH; daughter of Luther Smith and Sarah Esther (Quintard) Hall.¹ She married William Edwin Silver, son of David Edwin Silver and Sarah Jane Tallman, on 27 September 1883 at Tama Co., IA; after William's untimely death Sarah remarried to George W. Havens (1852 - 1929) in 1900. Sarah Isabel Hall lived on 4 April 1930 at Iowa Falls, Hardin Co., IA, with her daughter Stella's family.¹

     Sigourney Gertrude Hall was also known as "Gracie" per the marriage record and "G" per John's death index record. Sigourney Gertrude Hall was also known as "Annie".^2,1 She was born on 20 June 1862 at Warren Co. (probably), VA, per the Findagrave.com memorial. 1900 census shows JUN 1863. Daughter of Christian David and Minerva Jane (Minnick) Hall. Christian and Minerva had an older daughter, Ann E. Hall, born about 1853, who was listed on the 1860 and 1870 censuses. The daughter later known as "Annie" and also as "Grace" appears to have been the daughter listed on the 1870 census as Sigourney, age 8. Perhaps she did not care for her unusual (at that time) name, and asked to be called other things. DLB 2019.^3,2,1 She married John William Laing on 18 April 1882 at Warren Co., VA, Per Laing_William_S_9-2-2-2014(2) genealogy prepared by lain1949, online at ancestry.com. After John's death, she remarried about 1907 to Morris Belt.

Sigourney Gertrude Hall lived on 5 June 1900 at Front Royal, Warren Co., VA, Housekeeper at the Royal Hotel.² She died on 7 October 1928 at Martinsburg, Berkeley Co., WV, at age 66. She was buried in October 1928 at Norborne Cemetery, Martinsburg, Berkeley Co., WV, Findagrave #109981660.

     Susan Faxon Hall was born on 26 May 1945 at Detroit, Wayne Co., MI.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Haywood Hall and Janice L. James.¹ Susan Faxon Hall married Arnold A. Krumrie on 23 June 1973 at Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI; This marriage appears to have been a short one -- Arnold's obituary names the mother of his two daughters Patricia Krumrie. Susan Faxon Hall married Edward A. Lark in 1983; there may or may not have been a legal marriage. She used "Hall-Lark" for the balance of her life. Susan Faxon Hall lived in 1992 at Saugatuck, Allegan Co., MI. She died on 14 August 2008 at age 63

Susan Faxon Hall-Lark, 63

Sue was born on May 26, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. She died on Thursday, August 14th at Holland Hospital; nine months after being diagnosed with lung cancer. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Janice Hall; her brother, James Haywood Hall; and her husband, Edward Lark. She is survived by her sister, Scottie Blumke; her sister-in-law, Susan Massengill; three nieces, Barbara Cale (sic), Jennifer Nowry and Karen Jenkins; and three stepchildren, Julianne Lark and her partner Janet, Ryan Lark and his wife Kristen, and Christopher Lark.

Sue graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit, Michigan and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from Ferris State University (then Ferris State College). After college, Sue lived and worked in Grand Rapids in the insurance industry. In 1983, Sue met Ed Lark and moved to Saugatuck. She is known as a familiar face behind the counter of several downtown Saugatuck retail shops, including but not limited to: Pee Wee Put-Ons, The Village News, Amantes and Cheryl's. Sue was a regular visitor to Oval Beach, and especially enjoyed dinner and sunset with Ed on the deck at the beach house. Sue was also a faithful member of the local "Round Table" group, and migrated with them across many years and various meeting places. She was also known for taking in stray animals and feeding all manner of furry and feathered creatures in her backyard. Sue was the primary care provider for her husband from the time he had a stroke in 1990 until he died in April of 2007. Despite her own battle with cancer, Sue remained enthusiastic and hopeful about the future. On the day before she died, she attended her radiation appointment and took in two garage sales and a milkshake with friends before returning home.

A memorial service will be held at All Saints' Episcopal Church in the sanctuary at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 23rd. The Reverend Edie Winter will preside. Friends and family are invited to gather to continue to celebrate her life at The White House, 149 Griffith St., Saugatuck. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of your choice.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Sue's friends for their loyal and loving care of her, especially during her recent illness; to the physicians and nurses who cared for her; and to the staff of Dykstra Funeral Home.

     Thelma Rose Hall was born on 11 May 1932 at Alhambra, Los Angeles Co., CA. She married Wendell Louellen Foss on 15 February 1951 at Los Angeles Co., CA. Thelma Rose Hall died on 5 September 2010 at Arizona at age 78

Thelma Rose Foss, 78, of Cottonwood died September 5. She was born May 11, 1932 in Alhambra, California, the daughter of Frank Joseph Hall and Rose Winifred Doidge Hall.

She was a graduate of Manual Arts High School. She worked as a dietitian and cook.

She loved dogs and cats and liked to sew and crochet. A very good cook, she was especially known for her cheesecake, pumpkin chiffon and mincemeat pies.

She leaves her sons Frank W. Foss (Irene) of Cottonwood, Jay E. Foss (Emma) of Santa Ana, California and Kory G. Foss (Betsy) of Las Vegas, Nevada; a daughter Marilyn M. Foss-Anderson (Keith, Sr.) of Moreno Valley, California; a sister Mildred Rubsch of Bakersfield, California; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are pending in Riverside, California.

     William C. Hall was born circa 1836 at Ohio Father born Pennsylvania, mother born Ohio, per 1880 census.¹ He was the son of Gideon Hall and Delila (?) William C. Hall married Hester Larimore, daughter of Thomas Larimore and Jemima Huddleston, on 11 January 1857 at Ohio, Eleven children born, seven living as of 1900 census. William C. Hall died after 1900 at Licking or Knox Co., OH.

     William D. Hall married Bertha Idella Ingram, daughter of George F. Ingram and Eva Tallman.

     Zenith Lucille Hall was born on 6 May 1923 at Fowler, Otero Co., CO. She was the daughter of Elmer E. Hall and Nellie M. Lowe.¹ Zenith Lucille Hall married Frank Willard Murphy Jr., son of Frank Willard Murphy and Effie A. Morford, before 1942. Zenith Lucille Hall died on 20 November 2003 at age 80. She was buried in November 2003 at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., CO, Findagrave #101043919.

     Marian Hallahan was the daughter of Elizabeth Tracey.¹

     Arthur L. Hallam was born on 31 October 1954. He was the son of Arthur Scott Hallam. Arthur L. Hallam died on 5 June 1987 at West Virginia at age 32 Obituary (via Findagrave.com):

     Cleon Scott Hallam was born on 22 September 1898 at Washington, Washington Co., PA.¹ He was the son of John Wishart Hallam and Elizabeth Buckingham.¹ Cleon Scott Hallam married Mabel L. Armstrong, daughter of Sheridan Ellsworth Armstrong and Elsie Catherine Bonham, on 10 August 1922 at Washington Co., PA. Cleon Scott Hallam lived on 5 April 1940 at Amwell Twp., Washington Co., PA, high school teacher.² He died on 17 April 1981 at age 82.      Elsie E. Hallam was born on 5 July 1923 at Washington Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Cleon Scott Hallam and Mabel L. Armstrong.¹ Elsie E. Hallam married William Orville Todd, son of Walter Todd and Ida Lucinda Watson, on 29 November 1952 at Frederick Co., VA, Ceremony by Rev. E. T. Clark. Elsie E. Hallam lived in 1993 at Bensenville, Du Page Co., IL.

     James Sheridan Hallam was born on 21 May 1967 at Washington Co., PA. He was the son of Wayne Sheridan Hallam and Virginia Lee Dunfee. James Sheridan Hallam died on 25 March 1996 at age 28.

     John Alfred Hallam was born on 20 January 1927 at Washington Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Cleon Scott Hallam and Mabel L. Armstrong.¹ John Alfred Hallam married Martha E. McConnell, daughter of Harry Lynn McConnell and Martha Ellen Mounts, on 10 April 1949 at Washington, Washington Co., PA. John Alfred Hallam began military service Korean War service. Mr. Hallam was a graduate of Trinity High School and retired from NAPA Auto Parts, Canonsburg, after 30 years of service. He was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea.

On April 10, 1949, in Washington, he married Martha McConnell, who died February 5, 2005.

Surviving are two sons, John S. (Mu Sun) Hallam of Peoria, Ariz., and Richard L. (Paula) Hallam of Washington; two daughters, Linda (Gary) Dicks of Washington and Cathy A. Mikus of Peoria, Ariz; a brother, Wayne Hallam of Washington; a sister, Elsie Todd of Chicago, Ill; seven grandchildren, Heather Pattison, Heather Ausher, Shaun Hallam, Dawnetta Johns, Katie Dicks, Cory Amos and Jordan Mikus; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a brother, Arthur Hallam, and a sister, Lois Hallam.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 21, with Rev. Donna L. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. Military honors will be afforded by Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 of the American Legion. Armstrong.¹ Wayne Sheridan Hallam married Virginia Lee Dunfee, daughter of Calvin Primrose Dunfee and Bertha Mae Allen, on 9 March 1957 at Washington Co., PA. He was born August 6, 1928, in Washington, a son of Cleon S. and Mabel Armstrong Hallam.Mr. Hallam was a graduate of Trinity High School.

He retired from Washington Steel in 1991, but was a lifetime farmer. In his youth, he was a big band singer. His love for big band music stayed with him throughout his life. He also enjoyed baseball and the lottery, and was a frequent visitor to both Isaly's and The Dog House.

Mr. Hallam was a member of both Laboratory Presbyterian Church and North Buffalo Presbyterian Church.

On March 9, 1957, in Washington, he married Virginia Dunfee, who died March 24, 2000.

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah (Robert) Hallam Leivengood and Donna (Donald) Hallam Hartzell, both of Washington; a sister, Elsie Todd of Chicago; two grandchildren, Sky (Trisha) DeSensi and Patience A. Hartzell; a great-granddaughter, Ariah Vicheck DeSensi; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, John and Arthur Hallam; a sister, Lois Ann Hallam; and two sons, James Sheridan Hallam and Wayne Markley Hallam.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Piatt & Barnhill Funeral Home, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 10. Interment will follow in North Buffalo Cemetery, Washington.

     Ella Kate Haller was born on 10 June 1869 at Lanark, Carroll Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. Joseph Haller M.D. and Martha A. Miller. Ella Kate Haller died on 11 October 1869 at Lanark, Carroll Co., IL.¹

     Frank H. Haller was born on 21 June 1874. He was the son of Dr. Joseph Haller M.D. and Elizabeth Snyder Shirk. Frank H. Haller married Louise White on 15 August 1901.

     Harry Haller was born on 10 November 1863.¹ He was the son of Dr. Joseph Haller M.D. and Martha A. Miller. Harry Haller lived in 1926 at Portland, Multnomah Co., OR.¹

     Johann Peter Haller was born on 18 September 1762 at Lancaster Co., PA. He died on 12 May 1852 at Cumberland Co., PA, at age 89.

Medical Society, and Medical Examiner of the leading Life Insurance companies doing business in Illinois; married Miss Martha Miller in Feb., 1863; she was born in Md., and died in Sept., 1869; he afterwards married Mrs. Lizzie S. Hostetter, who was born in Pa; has had three children: Harry M, Anna B. and Frank H; Mrs. Hailer has one son by former marriage.

Dr. Joseph Haller M.D. was born on 17 July 1836 at Boonsboro, Washington Co., MD.¹ He was the son of Charles Haller and Abigail Hewitt. Dr. Joseph Haller M.D. married Martha A. Miller, daughter of Abraham Miller and Catherine Price, on 6 February 1863, Ceremony by Rev. John Sprogle.¹ Dr. Joseph Haller M.D. married Elizabeth Snyder Shirk, daughter of Rev. Jacob Balmer Shirk and Susan Stouffer, on 7 December 1870. Dr. Joseph Haller M.D. died on 11 December 1907 at Lanark, Carroll Co., IL, at age 71.¹ He was cremated in December 1907.
