     Note: Probably this is the David Allender, age 21, son of Thomas and Anne Allender, found in the 1870 census, Washingon Twp., Guernsey County. Compared with later censuses, there are 2 discrepancies: Thomas' birthplace is shown as Ohio, whereas the birthplace of David's father is later stated to be Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William Sherman Wendell and Dova Belle Alloway. Nellie Allender married Elihew Emery O'Dowd, son of Elihew Emery O'Dowd and Mahala Ann Tittle, on 12 August 1916 at Newport, Campbell Co., KY. Nellie Allender and Elihew Emery O'Dowd were divorced before May 1947. Nellie Allender married John Oscar Robson, son of George Oscar Robson and Ida Anne Staten, on 16 May 1947 at Guernsey Co., OH, John was first married to Ethel Minnie Ogle who died in 1946. They had two sons, Ralph and James, who were living in Columbus in 1964, per John's newspaper obituary.

Mrs. Nellie Robson

Mrs. Nellie O'Dowd Robson, 72, of 1007 Gaston avenue, Cambridge, died unexpectedly at 8 p.m. Friday at her home of an apparent heart attack.

She was born March 19, 1899, in Kimbolton, a daughter of Walter and Dova Alloway Allender. Her husband, John Robson, is deceased.

Mrs. Robson was a member of Cambridge Second Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mr. J. R. (Madelyn) Scott of Lakeview drive; two sons, Robert W. O'Dowd of Lancaster and Paul D. O'Dowd of Elyria; a sister, Mrs. Harry Gallup of Pittsburgh, Calif, and three grandchildren. A brother is deceased.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Scott Funeral Home in Cambridge with Rev. O. Frank Storch II officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
