Alta K. Maker, 91, Montpelier, died Wednesday at the Kaylor-Nichols Clinic in Blufton. She and her husband, Curtis Maker operated Maker's Grocery Store in Arcadia for many years.
Mrs. Maker was born Nov. 28, 1883 to Mr. and Mrs. John Hartzog. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1957 and by a daughter, Edna Mae Lieurance, in 1974.
Surviving is a son, John M. Maker, Lansing, Mich; five grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
