Surviving are three sons, Jeffery Hasis, Van Wert, Bradley (Pamela) Hasis, Port St. Lucie, FL, and Steven Fought, Toledo; two daughters, Linda (Bob) Tobias, Van Wert, and Cathy (Dr. Michael) Ruhlen, Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A retired farmer, he was a lifelong member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War in Panama. He attended Mendon-Union High School. He was a member of American Legion Post 508 and Shanes Lodge 377 Free & Accepted Masons, both of Rockford.

Services are at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, with Rev. Kenneth Baker, officiating.

GRAND PRAIRIE -- Thomas M. Hass, 65, of 1013 N.W. Eighth Street in Grand Prairie died Thursday at his residence after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Andrews Episcopal Chrch in Grand Prairie with burial in Mount Olivet.

Hass, born in Fort Worth, was a former resident of Memphis, Tenn., and had been a resident of Grand Prairie for the past three years. He was a retired sales manager of the MidSouth Galvanizing Co.

Survivors are a son, Melvin R. Hass of Fort Worth; two daughters, Mrs. Bud Clark of Grand Prairie and Mrs. Dean Sawvell of Pleasant View; mother, Vera Holland of Euless; brother, Vernon Hass of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
