She was preceded in death by her husband, Orland Floyd Harger, whom she married on October 27, 1935; son, Lyle Harger; parents Clifford Cecil & Sylvia Alma WOODS Henkle; and sister, Zoe HENKLE Thornton.

Lois is survived by:
Her sons: Merlyn Harger and his wife Helen; Charles (Corky) Harger; and Gary Douglas Harger and his wife Elene;
Her daughter: Cheryl HARGER Boyd and her husband Sam;
11 grandchildren;
26 great-grandchildren;
10 great-great-grandchildren;
and numerous loving family members and friends.

Funeral services for Lois will be held at the Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer HWY, Deer Park, Texas 77505, on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 12:30pm.

SNAPP, ADA G., 87 of Ferndale, FL died Sunday, October 26, 2003 at Eustis, FL. Born in Telford, TN, Mrs. Snapp moved to Ferndale in 1959 from Johnson City, TN. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Ferndale Baptist Church. Mrs. Snapp was preceded in death by her husband, Earl and four brothers.

Surviving are her sons, Robert Ray of Melbourne, FL, Beryl L. Mrs. J. Guy (Ethel) Carter, 87, Rt. 14, died Sunday morning in Colonial Hill Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
She was a life-long resident of Washington County and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Victoria Hodges Henley.

She was a retired farmer and was a member of the Boones Creek Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Judson Guy Carter, in 1950.

Survivors include a son, Ernest Carter, Johnson City; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley L. Harrison, Kingsport; two grandsons; several nieces and nephews.

Taken prisoner. He was given 25 cents per day for the 39 days that he spent in Libby, Castle Thunder and Belle Isle prisons.

He was a carpenter from Hagerstown and lived out his years after the war in nearby Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.

He died on November 9, 1916 and is buried in Burn's Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Pa.
