Other family trees show descends from surname Hennescheid/Hinneschied, Germany. and that Isaac Hendershot born Sussex County NJ 1788 married Susannah Shoemaker in 1810 Belmont County, Ohio.

Noble County was formed on March 11, 1851 from portions of Guernsey, Morgan, Monroe and Washington counties.) The Williamsburg map attached shows two lots for M. Hendershott next to a very large area owned by Robert Finley.

Michael and Mary are listed on 1860 census, Beaver, Noble County, Ohio, with children Isaac, Robert, Wm. D., Sarah and now a James C. 7.

There is a Sarah A. McPherson 32 on the 1860 census, Beaver, Noble, Ohio, with son John W. 1 J. W. H/ William McPherson married Mary Ann Coultas, July 28, 1879 and died in 1888 and is buried Batesville Cemetery, mem 124550363.
