Services for Holbrook are 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Holbrook was the owner of Guardian Midtown and Guardian West Funeral Homes for 30 years, and was active on the staff until his death.
He was a longtime member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and served on several commissions in the church. At the time of his death, Holbrook was the chairman of the memorials committee.
Holbrook was active with the Boy Scouts and YMCA Junior Baseball programs. He was a member of the Men's Dinner Club, Sooner Dinner Club, and Downtown Lion's Club.
He was on the board of the Travelers Aide Society, and served as an Army captain in World War II.
Holbrook is survived by his wife, Elma; sons Phillip of Edmond, and Winn of Oklahoma City; and a sister, Vera, of Tustin, Calif. Memorials may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church

As an active member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church, he served on numerous committees and was chairman of the Official Board and the Memorials Committee. He was a member of the Beacon Sunday School Class. He worked actively with the Boy Scouts, the Y Junior Baseball Program, and served on the board of Travelers Aid for many years. In 1985, he was cited for his active support of the Indo-Chinese refugees resettled in Okla. He was a member of the Mens Dinner Club, the Sooner Dinner Club, the Lions Club, and the Optimist Club. He is survived by his wife, Elma; his son, Win and his wife, Anne; his son, Phillip and his wife, Sarah; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Sarah, Ryan and Lindsay; and a sister, Vera Cooper of California. Services conducted by Guardian Midtown Funeral Home, will be at 10am Thursday at St. Lukes United Methodist Church. The family suggests that memorials be made to the St. Lukes Memorial Committee.
