Born on April 18, 1924 in Monroe Twp., Preble County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Russell M. & Eva M. (Miller) House. Naomi sewed for many people in the area over the years and was a member of the Preble County Widows and Widowers Group. Preceded in death by her Husband: Eugene Clark in 1993; Sisters: Beulah Spencer, Esther Rush and Regina Snyder.

Survived by Sons: Larry (Arline) Clark, Miamisburg, OH and Wendell (Vivian) Clark, Eaton, OH; Daughters: Janice (Steven) Semler, Springfield, OH, Barbara (Mark) Swindler, West Alexandria, OH and Sandy (Terry) Phillips, Somerset, KY. 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Pastor Laura Thomas officiating. Interment will be held in Palestine Cemetery in Darke County, OH. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and also one hour prior to service on Wednesday.

Veva (Petete) Abner, a longtime Holdenville resident, died in Holdenville General Hospital, Tuesday morning
at the age of 78. She was born in Gravelly, Arkansas on December 17, 1912. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:30 in the East Main Church of Christ, with Larry Bailey
officiating. Burial will be in Holdenville Cemetery, with Hudson Funeral Home in charge of services. Mrs. Abner came to Spaulding at the age of three years. Mrs. Abner had lived in Spaulding and Holdenville most of her life. She had graduated from Spaulding High School and was a member of ;the East Main Church of Christ. She was married to Coleman Petete August 6, 1937. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1976. She then married O.G. Abner on April 30, 1980. Survivors are: her husband. O.G. Abner of the home; one sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Turpin of Holdenville; two step-sons, Arnold Abner and wife, Lori of El Reno and Kendall Abner and wife,
Darla, of Hydro; two step-daughters, Carolyn Pulchny and husband, Mike of Krebs and Elaine Pulchny of Holdenville; nine step-grandchildren and seven-step-great- grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Samuel L. Householder was given a party in honor of his twenty-first birthday Tuesday evening by his friends at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs Zebedee Householder, Sutton avenue, St. Denis. The evening was spent in games and recitations. Mr. H. Webster Erdman, of Baltimore, sang several solos, his accompanist being Miss Hazel Harman. Miss Lillie Easton, accompanied by her sister, Miss Susie Easton, gave several violin selections.

Refreshments were served, the house and tables being attractively decorated with cut flowers and potted plants.
