She gave birth to Winona, whose father was Jacob Kanneberg, in 1921 at DeWitt, Iowa, divorced sometime during the early 1920s, then remarried to Henry Kosnopfal in 1924. She gave birth to Iola Kosnopfal in March, 1924. Henry died in 1927. Ethel married, using "Kanneberg", to John R. Oakley on 22 MAY 1960 at Alameda County, CA, and died at Mendocino County on 17 APR 1977.

ARTHUR IRA HULL
Arthur Ira Hull passed away Wednesday, November 10, 1971 at the Masonic Home in Wichita at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 24 days.
He was born, April 16, 1881 near Downs, Kansas. Mr. Hull was the son of Franklin and Ellen Burns Hull.
On March 21, 1906, Arthur and Meda Munsinger were united in marriage, and spent 65 happy years together.
Mr. Hull was a traveling salesman for 31 years and also worked
13 years at the Sanitarium in Norton, Kansas.
He became a member of the Masonic Lodge in Gaylord, Kansas in 1907. This membership was then transferred to the Downs Lodge, where he retained his membership.
Surviving are his widow, Meda, of the home, twelve nieces and nephews, several grandnieces and nephews, also several great-grandnieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers and sisters.
The funeral service was held Friday, November 12, at 2:00 p.m. at the Domoney Funeral Home, Downs. Rev. Lee Wiersma of Wathena, a great-nephew of Mr. Hull, officiated at the service.
Janice Wiersma a great niece, was soloist, accompanied by Mary Remus at the piano.…
Burial was in the Downs Cemetery with graveside services by the Downs Masonic Lodge.

He was born near a very large reservoir built for the canal system. He served in the Civil War with troops from Iowa under Generals Grant and Sherman. He got ill at the Siege of Vicksburg from drinking contaminated water and was given up for dead at the Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis. His father came and drove him home to Iowa with a wagon load of blankets, quilts and comforters. He went on to celebrate his 50th Wedding Anniversary. He and several other relatives homesteaded in Oakdale, Ross Township, near Downs, Kansas.
He was buried in March 1920 at Oakdale Cemetery, Downs, Osborne Co., KS, Findagrave #17005354.
