DENNIS O. JENKINS, 68 years of age, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. The son of the late Frank and Ruth (Snodgrass) Jenkins, Dennis was born November 30, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the owner of Arc Weld, Inc. in Corydon, Indiana. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Hinkle.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Kathy (Russell) Jenkins; children, Brian Jenkins (Jessica) of Corydon IN, Mark Jenkins (Stacy) of Lanesville IN and Julie Heidbreder (Hudson) of Greenville IN; brother, David O. Jenkins (Cindy) of Kansas City MO; and grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zachary, Wesley, Jake, Dalton, Jenna and Tanner.

Visitation will be 3:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Friday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.

Evonne Caroline Brilhart, 81, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover, PA.

Born on August 11, 1938, in Manchester, MD, she was the daughter of the late Francis Burnwell and Doris Caroline Weaver Jenkins. She was the beloved wife of 61 years to Merl T. Brilhart.

Years ago, she worked for Black & Decker. She was member of New Hope Faith Community Church in Hanover, PA and a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester, MD where she was a Stephen Minister for over 20 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband are sons: Todd D. Brilhart and wife Lisa of Wyalusing, PA and Ted A. Brilhart and wife Beverly of Orrtanna, PA, grandchildren: Torie, Brooke and Katherine and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother: Wayne Jenkins and wife Sheila of Ephrata, PA.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, from 6:30-7:30 PM at New Hope Faith Community Church, 33 Sunday Drive, Hanover, PA 17331, where a memorial service will be held on Friday, July 24, at 10 am. Inurnment to follow in St. David’s Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Evonne’s memory may be made to New Hope Faith Community Church.

MANCHESTER, Md. -- Francis Burnell Jenkins, 74, of Manchester, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 1990, at Carroll County General Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles and Lela Jenkins. Twice married, he was the widower of Doris Weaver Jenkins who died in 1974 and Virginia Wentz Jenkins who died in 1987.

Before retiring, he was a meat cutter with Dutterer's of Manchester.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Hampstead American Legion Post 200 and Trinity United Church of Christ, Manchester.

He is survived by one daughter, Evonne Brilhart of Hanover, Pa; one son, Wayne Jenkins of Manchester; one stepdaughter, Joyce Jordan of North Carolina and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity UCC, Manchester, with the Rev. Mark Schlichter and the Rev. Harvey Schlicher officiating. Burial will be in the Old Manchester Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Eckhart Funeral Chapel, Manchester, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
