     Friederika Järmann was born on 10 August 1869 at Röthenbach, Canton Bern, Switzerland.¹ She was the daughter of Friedrich Järmann and Anna Margaritha Schweizer.^2,3 Friederika Järmann married Georg Friedrich Scheurer, son of Georg Friedrich Scheurer and Maria Magdalena Scheurer, circa 1894.¹ Friederika Järmann died on 27 September 1938 at Hauingen bei Lörrach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, at age 69.¹

     Friedrich Järmann was born on 19 June 1836 at Grosshöchstetten, Canton Bern, Switzerland.¹ He married Anna Margaritha Schweizer on 16 January 1866 at Bischoffszell, Canton Thurgau, Switzerland.²

     Forrest Theodore Kable was born on 13 May 1907 at Mt. Morris, Ogle Co., IL. He was the son of Harvey J. Kable and Pearl Vera Hershey. Forrest Theodore Kable died on 15 July 1976 at Hennepin Co., MN, at age 69. He was buried in July 1976 at Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, Ogle Co., IL.

     Harvey J. Kable was born on 15 July 1880 at Lanark, Carroll Co., IL. He was the son of John Kable and Elizabeth Speicher. Harvey J. Kable married Pearl Vera Hershey, daughter of Daniel Hershey and Barbara Ann Johnson, on 7 May 1903 at Mt. Morris, Ogle Co., IL. Harvey J. Kable died on 13 April 1931 at Mt. Morris, Ogle Co., IL, at age 50.

     Justin M. Kable was born on 17 December 1910 at Mt. Morris, Ogle Co., IL. He was the son of Harvey J. Kable and Pearl Vera Hershey. Justin M. Kable died on 3 September 1966 at Mt. Morris, Ogle Co., IL, at age 55.

     Grace Kackert was born circa 1902 at Illinois daughter of Frank Kackert and Mary Steiner. She married Roy A. Kitzmiller, son of Resin Franklin Lee Kitzmiller and Lavina Greenwood, before April 1930, After Roy died, Grace remarried to Larry M. Witt. They appear to have divorced before the April, 1940, census.

     Amanda Ellenor Kackley was born on 27 June 1877 at Buffalo Twp., Noble Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of John Wesley Kackley and Amanda A. Starr.¹

     Angeline Kackley was born in November 1881 at Buffalo Twp., Noble Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of John Wesley Kackley and Amanda A. Starr.¹ Angeline Kackley lived on 1 June 1900 at Jackson Twp., Guernsey Co., OH, Glass decorator, living with sister Ocie Hoopman's familty.¹

     Carrie A. Kackley was born in April 1879 at Noble Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of John Wesley Kackley and Amanda A. Starr.¹ Carrie A. Kackley married Clovis Waite Johnson, son of Ezra Johnson and Nancy C. Secrest, on 14 May 1902 at Noble Co., OH; Clovis remarried to Winnifred Roberts (1874 - 1963) on 27 JUN 1923, Franklin County, Ohio. Carrie apparently remarried to John W. Idlerton (1891 - 1984) before APR 1930, although the marriage record is not found in online public documents. She was divorced again as of the APR 1940 census, when she was living at 860 Elner Street in Columbus, apparently unemployed. No later record found. DLB 2022.

Starr.¹ Oceola Kackley married Parrmer Elmer Hoopman circa 1895.² Oceola Kackley lived on 1 June 1900 at Jackson Twp., Guernsey Co., OH.² She and Parrmer Elmer Hoopman were divorced before 20 August 1918; Parmer remarried to Metta E. Thompson on 20 AUG 1918 at Guernsey County. Ocie lived in January 1920 at Columbus, Ohio, with her son Guy and brother Lewis, and is listed as "WD" on the census. Oceola Kackley married William Edward Rexroth on 30 June 1927 at Franklin Co., OH, William was first married to Olivia M. Tate, in 1913. Ocie was first married to Parmer Hoopman, about 1895. Bernard James Kadolph, 91, of Story City died September 9, 2019 at Accura Healthcare of Ames. Funeral mass will be Friday at 10:00 am at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in rural Gilbert. Burial will be at 1pm at Jackson Township Cemetery near Owasa. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with a prayer service at 6:30.
Bernie was born on December 6, 1927 in Eldora, Iowa to Albert and Lela (Fuller) Kadolph. He married Beverly McWherter on January 29, 1945. She passed away May 17, 2003. Bernie moved to Story City shortly after his wife died and was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, spending his winters in Texas and summers at French Lake in Faribault, MN.

Bernie is survived by his three sons, James (JoAnn) of Eldora, Russell (Vicky) of Hiawatha, and Timothy (Renae) of Story City; seven grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Larry (Grace) and Ronald both of Eldora and a sister, Rita (Darrell) of Iowa Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly; a great-great grandson, Warren James Zieser; a brother, Albert Eugene and a sister, Mary Lou Harman.

He was buried in September 2019 at Jackson Township Cemetery, Owasa, Hardin Co., IA, Findagrave #202907805.

WHITE CLOUD, kan. -- Gery K. Kafer, 53, White Cloud, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1995, at a Topeka hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Born in Nevada, Mo., on July 21, 1942, Mr. Kafer had worked at various jobs, but was mainly a painter. He graduated from a high school in Nevada.

On Sept. 10, 1977, he married Darlene F. Whetstine in Franning, Kan. She survives of the home.

Mr. Kafer was preceded in death by his parents, Keith K. and Mary E.

Additional survivors: two daughters, Carrie D. Cartwright, Nevada, and Rilie K. Kafer of the home; two sons, Gary S., Nevada, and Michael A. of the home, a sister, Kay Scotten, Nevada, and five grandchildren.

     Keith Kohl Kafer was also known as Keith Thomas Keith was almost certainly the biological son of Clarence R. Thomas, but adopted the surname of his stepfather before April, 1930. He was born on 11 February 1918 at Glidden, Carroll Co., IA, WW II draft registration. He was the son of Clarence Roy Thomas and Elva Irene Nichols. Keith Kohl Kafer married Mary Ellen Shafer, daughter of Edward W. Shafer and Edna May Ferguson. Keith Kohl Kafer married Hazel Viola Hinchman on 3 March 1956 at Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO. Keith Kohl Kafer died in 1964. He was buried in 1964 at Deerfield Cemetery, Deerfield, Vernon Co., MO, Findagrave #117540251.
