Rosamond Louise Kemper died on 8 April 1998 at Bradenton, Manatee Co., FL, at age 80.

     Victor H. Kemper was born on 10 February 1886 at Medora, McCoupin Co., IL. He was the son of Joseph W. Kemper and Mary Harlan. Victor H. Kemper married Charlotte Martha Kitzmiller, daughter of James W. Kitzmiller and Georgia M. Palmer, on 24 June 1908. Victor H. Kemper and Charlotte Martha Kitzmiller were divorced before 1918. Victor H. Kemper began military service on 12 September 1918 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL, WW I draft registration. He married Karen K. Jenson on 10 December 1918 at Cook Co., IL. Victor H. MEDORA -- Mrs. Charlotte Kemper, 70, a life-long resident of Medora, died at 1:50 a.m. today in Alton Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past five years but seriously ill only a few days. She entered the hospital Wednesday at 6 p.m.
A daughter of the late James and Georgia Palmer Kitzmiller, she was born August 17, 1889 in Medora.
She had served as pianist for more than 26 years at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a member of Medora Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and a past matron of the lodge.
Her husband, Victor Kemper, to whom she was married June 24, 1908, preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, William, of Medora, who operates a barber shop in Alton; a brother, J. M. Kitzmiller of Medora and a grandson, J. William Kemper of Elmhurst, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Mary Vorhees.
The body is at Warner Funeral Home, Medora, where friends may call after noon Friday and until noon Saturday when the body will be taken to the Baptist Church for services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Kemper Cemetery.

DIAMONDS LIGHT BELLHOP AND HIS BRIDE TO CELLS
William Voorhees' unexampled prosperity in the prosaic occupation of bellhop in the Parkway hotel at 2100 Lincoln parkway concluded yesterday in the collapse of his honeymoon flat, his arrest on a charge of the theft of $2,000 worth of diamonds belonging to the wife of Dr. Claude R. Forrester, and the disillusionment of his wife, the former Miss Dorothy Gavin, one time switchboard operator in the hotel.
Miss Voorhees was locked up in the Clark street annex, sobbing her ignorance of the source of all the gems.
The Forrester gems disappeared on Jan. 14, while the owners were at breakfast. On March 6, Voorhees and Miss Gavin eloped to Crown Point, Ind. and were married. Voorhees startled the Justice of the peace by giving his wife a wedding gift of a diamond about the size of a doorknob. They went to housekeeping in a flat at 1931 North Park avenue.
Their arrest was followed by that of Victor H. Kemper of 24 North Carpenter street, in whose place some of the stolen jewelry is said to have been found.

     Eleanor Kempf was born on 8 February 1926 at Coral Ridge, KY. She married David Tildon Crecelius, son of David Rosco Crecelius and Doris King Goebbel, on 27 September 1955.

     Ervin Kempf married Lucille Kuhns.

     Larion John Kempf was born on 11 October 1944. He was the son of Ervin Kempf and Lucille Kuhns. Larion John Kempf died on 2 November 1999 at age 55. Cause of death: Heart disease.

     Charles Kempton was born on 30 June 1861 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ He married Alice Emma Hannon circa 1883.¹ Charles Kempton died on 12 January 1927 at Morrow Co., OH, at age 65.

     E. K. Kempton married Emma Tallman, daughter of Nathaniel Tallman and Catherine B. Wright, after 1885.

     Edith Kempton was born on 6 January 1887 at Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Kempton and Alice Emma Hannon.¹ Edith Kempton married Clarence J. Huddleston, son of Henry Huddleston and Flora Clarissa Gladden, circa 1903. Edith Kempton died on 2 August 1937 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 50. She was buried in August 1937 at Mt. Pleasant M.E. Cemetery, Delaware Co., OH.

     Abraham Kendall was born on 20 November 1836 at Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY. He married Ellen Gilmore, daughter of Smith Gilmore and Priscilla Mudd, on 2 September 1858 at Memphis, Scotland Co., MO. Abraham Kendall died on 9 October 1912 at Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY, at age 75.

     Anna Jane Kendall was born on 22 December 1873.¹ She was the daughter of James Kendall and Margaret Morrow.¹ Anna Jane Kendall married Wesley Grove Keefer, son of Henry Keefer and Elizabeth Weist, on 4 February 1904, No children.¹ Anna Jane Kendall lived in 1926 at R.D. 10, Chambersburg, Franklin Co., PA.¹

     Cyrus Lucien Kendall was born in 1851 at Navarro Co., TX. He married Amanda Madora House. Cyrus Lucien Kendall died in 1936 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., OK. He was buried in 1936 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., OK, Findagrave #59974412.

     Ralph Brawley Kendall was born on 23 November 1882 at Ellis Co., TX, WW I draft registration, Oklahoma City. He was the son of Cyrus Lucien Kendall and Amanda Madora House. Ralph Brawley Kendall married Viola Grace Hottle, daughter of Dr. William Conrad Hottle and Mary Alice Stump, on 1 February 1924 at Tulsa Co., OK, no children. Ralph Brawley Kendall and Viola Grace Hottle were divorced after April 1930; Ralph and Viola are listed on the 1930 census, living at Crutcho, Oklahoma County, OK. Ralph Brawley Kendall died on 27 August 1945 at Corpus Christi, Nueces Co., TX, at age 62. He was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., OK, Findagrave #59974426.

In the 1920 Census, Ralph appears to be living with wife Rosa and son Eugene.
Miss Mayfair Kendall was listed as the informant on his death certificate and was the contact person on his World War II Draft Registration Card. She was living in Oklahoma City at the time of his death. She appears to have been Ralph's sister.

     Susan Kendall was born on 2 June 1841 at Plymouth, Hancock Co., IL. She was the daughter of Henry Kendall and Isabell Lineberger. Susan Kendall married Henry Pendleton Brumback, son of Jacob Brumback and Nancy Grove, on 23 September 1861 at Plymouth, Hancock Co., IL. Susan Kendall died on 21 April 1911 at Plymouth, Hancock Co., IL, at age 69.

     Betsey E. Kendeigh was born circa 1821 Based on headstone inscription "Aged 33 Y." She was the daughter of John Kendeigh and Mary Rice. Betsey E. Kendeigh married Stephen Knickerbocker, son of David Knickerbocker and Diadama Haverland. Betsey E. Kendeigh died on 4 July 1854 at Amherst Twp., Lorain Co., OH. She was buried in July 1854 at Kendeigh Corner Cemetery, Amherst Twp., Lorain Co., OH, Findagrave #14008497.

     John Kendeigh was born on 8 January 1800 at Pennsylvania. He married Mary Rice. John Kendeigh died on 23 October 1876 at Amherst, Lorain Co., OH, at age 76.
