     Alfred Kibler was also known as Uriah This individual is listed on the 1850 census as Uriah Kibler, but later is only found as Alfred Kibler. He was born circa May 1850 at Shenandoah Co., VA.¹ He was the son of Philip Kibler Jr. and Mary Margaret Sheetz.¹ Alfred Kibler married Mariah Swartz, daughter of Samuel S. Swartz and Mary Gibler, on 16 February 1882 at Shenandoah Co., VA. Alfred Kibler lived on 2 July 1900 at Stonewall District, Shenandoah Co., VA, farming.²

     Amanda Ellen Kibler was born on 21 December 1853 at Shenandoah Co., VA.¹ She was the daughter of William Kibler and Hannah Wilkin.¹

     Amelia Kibler was also known as "Millie". She was born on 7 August 1809 at Highland Co., OH. She was the daughter of Fredrick Kibler and Leah Wilkin. Amelia Kibler married John Benjamin Davidson, son of John Davidson Sr., on 30 November 1826 at Highland Co., OH, ceremony by John Ross, J.P. Amelia Kibler lived in September 1850 at White Oak Twp., Highland Co., OH.¹ She lived in 1880 at White Oak Twp., Highland Co., OH, living with daughter Deborah Ann Ruble's family.² She died on 21 January 1887 at Highland Co., OH, at age 77.

Mrs. Sine was born in Woodstock, VA to Obed and Effie Frances Kibler on August 17, 1915.

She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church since 1924 and was lovingly embraced by the Mt. Calvary United Church of Christ of Woodstock.

A graveside service will be conducted by the Reverend Derek Ritenour Sunday, February 24, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at the Columbia Furnace Cemetery, Edinburg, VA.

Three brothers, Fred Kibler, Earl Lee Kibler, and Shirley Kibler and a sister, Goldie Kibler preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Sine Keckley and husband Matthew of Edinburg and her son, Nelson O. Sine and wife Beverly of Woodstock, five grandchildren, Jennifer Keckley Dennison and husband Christopher of Marietta, GA, Jeremy Keckley and wife Kasey of Linden, VA, Bridget Sine of Woodstock, VA, Renee Lutman and husband Ryan of Lovettsville, VA and Benjamin Sine of Woodstock, VA; and one great grandson, Channing Dennison of Marietta, GA; and two sisters, Hazel Marston and Iva Wakeman, both of Woodstock.

The family would like to thank the Blue Ridge Hospice team, Susan Burner, Shirley Kolb, Susan Mason and Trudy Pence, and Chaplain Kitty Hahn for their loving care.

She was buried in February 2013 at Columbia Furnace Union Church Cemetery, Columbia Furnace, Shenandoah Co., VA, Findagrave #105626010.

Hazel Olene Kibler Marston, 100, of Woodstock, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.

The funeral will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Reverend Robert Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Massanutten Cemetery in Woodstock.

Mrs. Marston was born September 20, 1913 in Woodstock, daughter of the late Obed Kibler and Effie Frances Kibler.

She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and attended every Shenandoah County Fair since 1917.

She was married to the late Fred Otis Marston.

She is survived by three sons, Berlin Marston of Edinburg, Obed Marston of Harrisonburg and Lawrence Marston of Woodstock; two daughters, Shelva Miller of Maurertown and Genevieve Poston of Woodstock; a sister, Iva Wakeman of Woodstock; 17 grandsons; one granddaughter; 42 great grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred Kibler, Earl Lee Kibler and Shirley Kibler; two sisters, Blanche Sine, and Goldie Kibler; and a daughter­in­law, Sharon E. Marston.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Ritter, Terry Kibler, Linden Wakeman, Danny Funkhouser, Harry Gene Kibler, and Charles Kibler.
