Richard Meade Kiddle, 83, of Centerville passed away July 3, 2017 after a lengthy battle with Parkinsons disease. Richard was born on August 18, 1933 in Kinsman, Ohio, the son of Edith and Frederick Kiddle. Richard enlisted in the Air Force and went through basic training at Sampson AFB in Geneva, NY. He worked in the Tower at WPAFB and was maintenance supervisor of the F-16s at Springfield. While on active duty in the Air National Guard, he visited numerous places including Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska. He served stateside during the Korean conflict. In his personal time, Richard enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling, camping, four-wheeling, and boating. He was an avid license plate collector and attended many swap meets. He built a house on Norris Lake, TN, and after retirement spent summers in Lake Suzy, FL.



Surviving Richard is his wife Florence Kiddle, brother Brad (Sally) of PA, sons Scott (Joanna) Kiddle of WV and Jeff Kiddle of OH, daughter Lynn (Dave) Pontius of OH, and stepsons Mike Eldridge of MT, Joe Eldridge of OH, Larry (April) Eldridge of OH, stepdaughter Debra (Dan) Unterman of OH, 16 grandchildren, 17-1/2 great-grandchildren, and numerous friends.

Funeral services at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432 with George Baier officiating. Burial at Bellbrook Cemetery.

Albert R. Kiddoo, Jr., 86, of Independence, Kansas passed away Saturday afternoon, November 2, 2002 at the Regal Estate Nursing Home, Independence, Kansas.

Albert was born March 25, 1916 in Neodesha, Kansas to Albert R. and Lula E. (Stoner) Kiddoo. He was reared and educated in Neodesha where he graduated from Neodesha High School in 1934. Albert married Mary F. Harvey on August 4, 1939 and they made their home in Neodesha. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corp during WWII. Following the war he worked for Standard Oil Company until his retirement in 1970.

Albert is survived by his wife, Mary of Independence, Kansas; one son Tom Kiddoo of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two daughters, Judith Ann Wiltse of Independence, Kansas and Carol Nancy Huffman of Farmington, Arkansas; one brother, Albert Kessner Kiddoo of Neodesha, Kansas; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.

Visitation hours for Mr. Kiddoo will be Tuesday, November 5, 2002 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Albert R. Kiddoo, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at the Neodesha City Cemetery. Pastor DeWayne Prosser of the Bible Baptist Church will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honors Unit, Fort Riley, Kansas.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders, Box 1427, Topeka, Kansas 66601. Memorials may be left with the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.

He attended Neodesha schools, graduating from Neodesha High School in 1944. He received his Associates Degree in Printing from Neosho County Junior College.

He enlisted in the United States Navy in May of 1944 and served his country honorably during WWII in the Pacific Theatre until May of 1946.

Glenn was united in marriage to June Kebert on August 13, 1950 in Neodesha, Kansas. She preceded him in death in 2006.

He worked as a typesetter for the Chanute Tribune. He also worked at Humboldt Brick and Tile, Mid America Refinery and retired from the City of Chanute in 1990.

He was a member of the Elks, VFW, and the American Legion.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as visiting with friends and family.

Survivors include three children, Brad Kiddoo and wife, Amy, Bruce Kiddoo and wife, Debra, and Barbara (Kiddoo) Busenbarrick, all of Chanute, KS; six grandchildren, Robin Scearce, Randee Allen, Ashli Fox, Adam Kiddoo, Dan Busenbarrick and Jesse Busenbarrick; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, June.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the First Christian Church in Chanute, KS. Graveside service will be at the Neodesha Cemetery in Neodesha, Kansas.

Memorials in his name may be made to the First Christian Church and may be left with the funeral home.

The Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel in Chanute, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.
