     Charles Earl Kiphart was also known as "Charlie". He was born on 16 October 1892 at Salem Twp., Warren Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Maurice W. Kephart and Eva Hutchinson.¹ Charles Earl Kiphart began military service on 20 April 1917 at Fort McDowell, CA, WW I service, enlisted, U.S. Army, Co., E, 21 Infantry to 9 APR 1919, Co. K, 21 Infantry to Discharge on 18 APR 1919, Pvt., per Ohio Roster of Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines in World War I, 1917 - 1918. He married Mary Ellen Henderson after January 1920, Mary Ellen was first married to Claude Trammell on 6 JUN 1912, Jefferson County, Alabama. As of the January, 1920 Federal Census she was listed twice, once living in her parents household in Shelby County, Texas, single, no occumpation, and the second time with her husband and her brother Clarence living on Bayview-Adamsville Road in Jefferson County, Alabama. The marriage broke up sometime after the 1920 census -- Claudius A. Trammell (1891 - 1965) had remarried to an Alice by the time of the April, 1930 census. DLB 2021.² Charles Earl Kiphart lived on 15 April 1940 at Birmingham, Jefferson Co., AL, woker in photography dark room.³ He died on 28 April 1948 at age 55. He was buried in 1948 at Midway United Methodist Cemetery, Adamsville, Jefferson Co., AL, per Alabama death record. No such cemetery in existence as of 2020.

     Donald Eugene Kiphart was born on 19 January 1933 at Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN.¹ He was the son of Donald Ward Kiphart and Leola Main.¹ Donald Eugene Kiphart died on 18 July 2004 at age 71. He was buried in July 2004 at Gardens of Memory, Muncie, Delaware Co., IN, Findagrave #9127599.

     Donald Ward Kiphart was born in 1907 at Greene Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Alfred Henry Kephart and Pearl Jessie Hite. Donald Ward Kiphart married Leola Main, daughter of Charles W. Main and Mabel B. Burk, on 10 February 1928 at Hancock Co., IN. Donald Ward Kiphart lived on 8 April 1940 at Blue River Twp., Hancock Co., IN, farm laborer.² He died in 1961. He was buried in 1961 at Gardens of Memory, Muncie, Delaware Co., IN, Findagrave #121096412.

     Dorothy May Kiphart was born on 3 June 1929 at Greenfield, Hancock Co., IN.¹ She was the daughter of Donald Ward Kiphart and Leola Main.¹ Dorothy May Kiphart married Billy Eldon Glessner, son of Paul Glessner and Edna Fay Dawson. Dorothy May Kiphart lived in 1985 at Santa Ana, Orange Co., CA. She lived in 2004 at Santa Ana, Orange Co., CA. She died on 7 September 2013 at age 84.      Ethel May Kiphart was born on 20 December 1888 at Washington Twp., Warren Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Maurice W. Kephart and Eva Hutchinson.¹ Ethel May Kiphart married Frank David Jones on 15 October 1914 at Cook Co., IL, no children. Ethel May Kiphart lived on 8 April 1930 at 606 Fulton Avenue, Birmingham, Jefferson Co., AL.² She and Frank David Jones were divorced after 1940. Ethel May Kiphart died on 5 June 1979 at Warren Co., OH, at age 90. She was buried in June 1979 at Morrow Cemetery, Morrow, Warren Co., OH, Findagrave #120899171. Ethel was briefly married to a Mr. Whitacre, and was affectionately known as "Miss Whitacre" as reflected on her headstone inscription.

     Lewis Deane Kiphart was also known as "Deane". He was born on 7 June 1921. He was the son of John Lewis Kephart and Blanche E. Vandevort. Lewis Deane Kiphart married Norma Jean Easton, daughter of Kenneth Earl Easton and Eunice M. Readnour. Lewis Deane Kiphart died on 22 June 2009 at age 88

Lewis Deane Kiphart, 88, of Blanchester, died Monday (June 22, 2009). He is survived by his wife, Lida Bayes of Blanchester. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Jean Easton Kiphart, who died Feb. 18, 2004.

Mr. Kiphart was born June 7, 1921, in Morrow, son of the late John Lewis Kiphart and Blanche E. Vandervort. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Blanchester.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons; a daughter, of Blanchester; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his first wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carole Bays, who died Oct. 29, 2007.

Funeral services will be held from 11 a.m. Monday at TUFTS-SCHILDMEYER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Pastor Ralph Cole officiating, with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 22, Blanchester, 45107.

Kiphart died on 11 December 1977 at Orange Co., CA, at age 87. She was buried in December 1977 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress, Orange Co., CA, Findagrave #94528558.

     Patricia Anne Kiphart was born on 1 January 1979 at Hamilton Co., OH. She died on 13 February 1990 at Anderson Mercy Hospital, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH, at age 11.

Born in Middle Amana, Iowa on November 8, 1919 and died unexpectedly on September 23, 2010. After earning his BS, MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from U of Iowa, Kip devoted his life to Engineering education. He taught at and chaired the ME departments at Washington U (St. Louis) and UW, retiring in 1974. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jane E M Kippenhan, his daughter, son, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. A celebration of life will be held at Horizon House, October 2, 2-4 pm.

James Albert Kirby began military service on 28 September 1940 WW II service, U.S. Army, enlisted, discharged 17 FEB 1945. NORTH CANTON -- James Kirby, 51, of 910 Marquardt Ave. NE, died Thursday in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Littleton, W. Va., he lived in North Canton the last 27 years.

He worked at Macomber Inc., Canton.

A World War II Army veteran, Mr. Kirby was a member of VFW Floyd Hughes Post No. 693 and the Canton Eagles No. 141.

He leaves his wife, Audrey; daughter, Mrs. Sandra Boyle, Canton; sons, James Jr., Canton, Donald L. Stephen, East Canton; brothers, Perry, Akron, Joseph, Moundsville, W. Va; sisters, Mrs. Ott Throckmorton, Homestead, Fla., Mrs. Ben Moran, Prescott, Ariz., Mrs J. P. Bonar, Moundsville, Mrs. Marion Greathouse, San Diego, Cal., and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lewis-Karlo funeral home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Burial will be in Sunset Hills cemetery.
