Caleb Kirk and Mary (?)¹ Blanche Lavonna Kirk married Samuel Peterson, son of Charles Augustus Peterson and Samantha Alice Starr, on 7 July 1922 at Portland, Multnomah Co., OR. Blanche Lavonna Kirk died on 13 July 1986 at Washington Co., OR, at age 82.

     Caroline Bailey Kirk was born in 1868. She was the daughter of Isaiah Kirk and Susanna Parvin Starr.

     Elizabeth Starr Kirk was born in 1866. She was the daughter of Isaiah Kirk and Susanna Parvin Starr. Elizabeth Starr Kirk died in 1927.

     Ellen Jane Kirk was born on 17 July 1844 at Virginia (now WV). She married Samuel Lewis Powell circa 1873, Five children born, one living as of the 1900 census.¹ Ellen Jane Kirk died in February 1914 at East Finley Twp., Washington Co., PA, at age 69.

     Ethyl Marie Kirk was also known as "Dixie". She was born on 21 April 1900 at Williamson Co., TX, Ethyl is listed as age 9 and 19 on the 1910 and 1920 censuses, respectively. But an unnamed female infant born in April, 1900 is listed on the 1900 census, and according to the 1910 census all four of Marzee's children were living, so the April 1900 infant can only have been Ethyl. DLB 2018.^2,1 She was the daughter of Walter Whittaker Kirk and Emeratta Manda Marzee Hood.¹ Ethyl Marie Kirk married Murray Leon Williams, son of Samuel Williams and Willie Augusta Smith, in 1920. Ethyl Marie Kirk lived on 4 April 1940 at 914 West Third Street, Elk City, Beckham Co., OK.³ She died on 30 October 1989 at Abilene, Taylor Co., TX, at age 89.

     Everett Thomas Kirk was born on 29 June 1908 at Kansas.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas C. Kirk and Olive May Long.¹ Everett Thomas Kirk lived between 1 April 1935 and 8 April 1940 at Wyoming Hospital for the Insance, Evanston, Uinta Co., WY, inmate.³ He died on 15 September 1997 at Cheyenne, Laramie Co., WY, at age 89. He was buried in September 1997 at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens, Cheyenne, Laramie Co., WY, Findagrave #183460904.

     Florence Kirk was born in November 1860 at Jefferson Twp., Fayette Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Kirk and Elmira Parrett.¹ Florence Kirk married Dr. Samuel A. Marshall on 3 December 1896 at Fayette Co., OH. Florence Kirk died in 1927. She was buried in 1927 at Washington Cemetery, Washington Court House, Fayette Co., OH, Findagrave #114158572.

     Genevieve Kirk was born circa 1911 at Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of James Ely Kirk and Della A. Blachly.¹

     George Kirk was born circa 1895 at Philadelphia Co. (probably), PA.¹ He was the son of (?) Kirk and Elizabeth Pennypacker.

     George Kirk was born on 18 January 1840 at Torrence of Campsie, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. He married Jane Cooper Horn on 31 October 1861 at Scotland. George Kirk died on 7 December 1916 at Halstead, Harvey Co., KS, at age 76 lengthy obituary in the 14 DEC 1916 edition of the Halstead Independent, page 1. He was buried in 1916 at Halstead Cemetery, Halstead, Harvey Co., KS, Findagrave #54071864.

     Georgianna Kirk was born on 22 June 1871 at Jefferson Twp., Fayette Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Kirk and Elmira Parrett.¹ Georgianna Kirk died on 9 January 1936 at Fayette Co., OH, at age 64.      James Ely Kirk was born on 5 April 1868 at Jefferson Twp., Fayette Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Henry Kirk and Elmira Parrett.¹ James Ely Kirk married Della A. Blachly, daughter of Charles Blachly and Jennie Turning Rogers, on 25 December 1900 at Nickerson, Reno Co., KS. James Ely Kirk

Scott City - James Ely Kirk, 97, Scott County grainman since 1921, died yesterday afternoon at the Scott County Hospital, following a brief illness.

He was born April 5, 1868, on a farm in Jefferson County, Ohio, and came to Kansas in 1890. He had been employed by the Santa Fe Railroad at Ellinwood, Great Bend and Sylvia.

He was married to Della A. Blackly [sic], Dec. 24, 1899, at Nickerson.

Mr. Kirk was a member of the First Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, had served on the City Council for many years, and was a director of the First National Bank, Scott City.

Surviving are the widow; five sons, Harold, Henry and Thomas, all of Scott City, Robert, Longmont, Colo., and Dr. Arthur, Spokane, Wash; four daughters, Mrs. Marvin Bastin, Mrs. Clifton Ottaway, both of Scott City, Mrs. Alden Eberly, Needham, Mass. and Mrs. C.C. Mortensen, San Pedro, Calif; a sister, Mrs. Lucia Carr, South Charleston, Ohio; 26 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church, Scott City, with the Rev. Elmer Rinkel officiating. BUrial will be at the Scott County Cemetery. The Weinmann-Price Funeral Home is in charge.

     James Harold Kirk was born on 18 August 1903 at Kansas.¹ He was the son of James Ely Kirk and Della A. Blachly.¹ James Harold Kirk married Elsie J. McConkey, daughter of Roy A. McConkey and Edith Lillian Blessing, on 6 August 1939 at McPherson, McPherson Co., KS. James Harold Kirk died on 23 February 1971 at age 67. He was buried in February 1971 at Scott County Cemetery, Scott City, Scott Co., KS, Findagrave #53364817.

     Jennie N. Kirk was born circa October 1869 at Jefferson Twp., Fayette Co., OH; 1870 census (7 June) shows the unnamed infant age 6 months, 1880 shows age 10, 1900 shows birth date Oct. 1875. Probably it was Oct. 1869. DLB 2014.¹ She was the daughter of Madison S. Kirkpatrick and Agnes L. Collier.¹

     Joseph Kirk was born on 11 February 1848 at Randolph Co., IN. He married Ellen C. Bearly on 5 June 1871 at New Castle, Henry Co., IN. Joseph Kirk died on 23 October 1906 at Marland, Noble Co., OK, at age 58.

Josephine Kirk died on 13 December 1953 at Aberdeen, Brown Co., OH, at age 73.

     Leo James Kirk was born on 17 July 1926 at Whittier, Los Angeles Co., CA. He married Margaret Joan Kemp in 1950. Leo James Kirk died on 27 January 2021 at age 94.
