She was a native of New Albany, the former Bernice L. LaDuke and the secretary at Local 934 United Brotherhood of Carpenter Union and Joiners of America.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Wiggam Sr; a son, Martin Epperson of New Albany; a step-son, Donald Wiggam Jr. of Hayden, Calif; a daughter, Sharon Lehmann of Jeffersonville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel F. Epperson.
Services are 10 a.m. tomorrow at Grayson New Washington Funeral Home, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. tomorrow.

The funeral Mass for John L. LaFleur, 49, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 West Main Street, Batavia, where he will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will follow at West Batavia Cemetery in Batavia.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. in Batavia. Born December 22, 1956, the son of Kenneth and Lorraine (nee Wendell) LaFleur, he passed away Sunday, March 26, 2006, at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva, following complications from a brain tumor. John was united in marriage to Tammi Snider on February 7, 1981, in Batavia.

John will be remembered as a fun, happy, involved community member who was a great husband and father. He always put his family first and was active with his children. He coached Batavia Youth Baseball and was involved with Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was employed at Fermi Lab as an electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Tammi of Batavia; three children, Kristina, Christopher and Bethanne, all of Batavia; his mother, Lorraine of Montgomery; three sisters, Wendy (Jerry) Marcec of Geneva, Joan (Jeff) Holland of Ariz. and Sandy (Terry) Boisdorf of Oswego; his father and mother-in-law, Philip and Peggy Snider of Hampshire; two sisters-in-law, Lynn (Bill) Dreymiller of Batavia and Cathleen (Andrew) Raymer of Texas; two brothers-in-law, Philip (Kristine) Snider of Geneva and Kevin (Tina) Snider of Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Rick LaFleur.
