     Margaret T. Langworthy was born in May 1889 at Illinois; daughter of Albert Daniel and Eugenie (Weldin) Langworthy.¹ She married Usher King, son of John Owen King and Nettie May Abbott, on 5 July 1913 at Salt Lake Co., UT; The Western States Marriage Record Index shows her name as Mrs. Margaret T. McChesney. There was a Mrs. Margaret McChesny, born MAY 1889, who was Margaret Langworthy, the wife of Herbert Edward McChesney (1885 - 1929) -- they were married 4 FEB 1909 in Kossuth County, Iowa. But that Margaret McChesney had a son Lester born 22 NOV 1911 and a son Edwin born 23 SEP 1913, both in Kossuth County, so she seems highly unlikely to be the person who married Usher King in July, 1913. No other matching Martha McChesneys appear to be listed in public records. DLB 2022.
