Irish.¹ Levi John Laskey died on 17 March 1942 at Toledo, Lucas Co., OH, at age 65 Ohio Department of Health; Columbus, Ohio; Ohio Deaths, 1908-1932, 1938-1944, and 1958-2007.

     Marcella Ruth Laskey was born on 31 January 1896 at Ridgeway, Elk Co., PA, Both the 1900 census and her marriage license indicate the Pennsylvania birth location -- why her mother was there at the time is unknown. DLB 2013.¹ She was the daughter of William Henry Laskey and Emeline Belinda Johnson.¹ Marcella Ruth Laskey married Joel Palmer Wolfe, son of Henry Wolfe and Jessie Palmer, on 27 June 1916 at Bay Co., MI, no children. Marcella Ruth Laskey lived in April 1935 at Memphis, Shelby Co., TN. She lived in April 1940 at Northville Twp., Wayne Co., MI. She died in October 1966 at Wayne Co., MI, at age 70.

     Mary Agnes Laskey was born in July 1879 at Bay Co. (probably), MI.¹ She was the daughter of William Henry Laskey and Susan J. Irish.¹ Mary Agnes Laskey married Gideon B. L'Herault on 29 August 1896 at Bay Co., MI. Mary Agnes Laskey lived in June 1900 at West Bay City, Bay Co., MI.²

     Matthew P. Laskey was born circa 1838 at Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., OH.¹ He was the son of William Laskey and Charlotte Fuller.¹ Matthew P. Laskey began military service on 21 August 1862 at Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., OH, Company "K", 105th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Private, commanded by Capt. Henry H. Cummings. Distinguished Service award. Served in same Company with his cousin John Fuller, who was killed at Atlanta.

Regimental History:

One Hundred and Fifth Infantry. - Col., Albert S. Hall; Lieut. Cols., William R. Tolles, George T. Perkins; Maj. Charles G. Edwards. This regiment was organized at Camp Cleveland, Aug. 20 and 21, 1862, to serve for three years. Within one hour after muster-in the regiment, 1,013 strong, was on the march to the station, under orders to leave the state. Its first field of operations was in Kentucky and after various marches in which it suffered much, it left Louisville in October, marched via Taylorsville and Bloomfield, to Perryville, where it was engaged in the battle of that name. The regiment went into this battle 800 strong and of these 48 were killed and 217 wounded, many of whom died of their wounds. Passing next into Tennessee the regiment remained at Murfreesboro until the following June, when it broke camp to participate in the Tullahoma campaign. It was engaged at Chickamauga and was highly complimented by the brigade commander. The casualties of the regiment in this battle were 80 killed, wounded and prisoners, and as two of the largest companies were not in the engagement the casualties were proportionately very heavy. The
regiment took part in the maneuvers at Chattanooga and participated in the battle of Missionary ridge, its loss being comparatively slight. In the long and fatiguing Atlanta campaign of many skirmishes and battles, the regiment made a good record, and although not immediately engaged in any of the heavy engagements, its casualties were large. After the fall of Atlanta it marched to the sea and up through the Carolinas, thence to Washington, and then home, being mustered out on June 3, 1865. Of the 1,013 men who left Cleveland in 1862 only 427 were present at the final roll-call.

     Robert Thomas Laskey was born in June 1854 at Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., OH.^1,2,3 He was the son of William Laskey and Charlotte Fuller.¹ Robert Thomas Laskey married Rosette (?) circa 1881 at Ashtabula Co. (probably), OH.³

     Rosabell Laskey was born circa 1859 at Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Laskey and Charlotte Fuller.¹

     Rose Mary Laskey was born on 27 April 1923 at Bay City, Bay Co., MI. She was the daughter of William Henry Laskey Jr. and Mary Agnes Lease. Rose Mary Laskey died on 27 September 1923 at Bay City, Bay Co., MI.

Irish.¹ Ruth Mae Laskey married Charles LaLonde on 2 March 1900 at Saginaw Co., MI. Ruth Mae Laskey lived in June 1900 at 117 Bristol Street, Saginaw, Saginaw Co., MI.¹ She married Max Leon Warner circa 1903.² Ruth Mae Laskey lived on 5 April 1910 at Arlington Avenue, Flint Ward 2, Genesee Co., MI.² She died on 19 September 1969 at age 84. She was buried in September 1969 at Gracelawn Cemetery, Flint, Genesee Co., MI, Findagrave #182033273.

Sarepta Louella Laskey died on 1 July 1916 at Mercy Hospital, Bay City, Bay Co., MI, at age 21 dates per Michigan death certificate. Cause of death: Shock following caesarian surgery.

     Thomas Laskey was born in 1848 at Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., OH.¹ He was the son of William Laskey and Charlotte Fuller.¹ Thomas Laskey died in 1853 at Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., OH, This Thomas was gone from the family, and a son named Thomas, born abt. 1855, was present in the 1860 census.²

     Virginia Ruth Laskey was born on 24 February 1922 at Bay City, Bay Co., MI.¹ She was the daughter of William Henry Laskey Jr. and Mary Agnes Lease.¹ Virginia Ruth Laskey lived in 1941 at 530 South Main Street, Plymouth, Wayne Co., MI, living with grandparents Laskey, working at A&P grocery store.
Note: Virginia had a marriage about 1941-42, resulting in a single child, which ended in divorce before 1943. Names of husband and child not known. She married Robert Earl Amos on 8 May 1943 at Inkster, Wayne Co., MI, total of five children to this marriage. Virginia Ruth Laskey and Robert Earl Amos were divorced circa 1968. Virginia Ruth Laskey married Robert W. Wurm in 1971 at Waldron, Hillsdale, MI. Virginia Ruth Laskey lived in 1993 at 111 Willard Court, Fayette, Williams Co., OH.
