     Theodore Lawrence was born in January 1871 at Lee Co., IL.¹ He married Bertie Alice Wineinger on 27 September 1897 at Ringgold Co., IA, Alice Lawrence remarried to Charles Elmer T. Greenlee on 22 DEC 1934 at Nodaway County, Missouri. Theodore Lawrence died after January 1920 No death record found. Alice was listed with marital status "M" on the 1930 census, Taylor County, Iowa, but she was living in the household of a cousin, with her three youngest children. But on the 1925 Iowa state census, Bertie Lawrence is listed in Taylor County with marital status "W". Theodore is not found in the 1930 census -- he probably died before 1925. DLB 2019.

     Vertie Lawrence was born on 7 July 1882. She married Charles Wilburn Greer. Vertie Lawrence died on 8 November 1948 at Cove Creek Twp., Watauga Co., NC, at age 66 Findagrave #66058403.

     Virginia Lawrence was the daughter of John Garlick Lawrence and Hannah G. Starling.

     Willis Gilbert Lawrence was born on 11 May 1905 at Knox Twp., Guernsey Co., OH. He was the son of Luther Jackson Lawrence and Margaret Pearl Wilson. Willis Gilbert Lawrence died on 23 January 1982 at Newcomerstown, Tuscarawas Co., OH, at age 76.

     Emily B. Lawrey was born circa 1813 at Harrison Co., OH.¹ She married Jesse Lee on 28 August 1834 at Tuscarawas Co., OH. Emily B. Lawrey died in 1920 at Cherryvale, Montgomery Co., KS.

     Isaac Fisher Laws was born on 30 October 1866 at Washington Co., TN. He married Sarah Magdaline Mathes. Isaac Fisher Laws died on 19 May 1947 at Johnson City, Washington Co., TN, at age 80. He was buried in May 1947 at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church Old Cemetery, Washington Co., TN, Findagrave #73864407.

     Lula Mae Laws was born on 29 August 1910 at Washington Co., TN. She was the daughter of Isaac Fisher Laws and Sarah Magdaline Mathes. Lula Mae Laws married Isaac Ernest Snapp, son of Hawkins Wendell Snapp and Lura F. Bailey. Lula Mae Laws died on 12 January 1981 at Limestone, Washington Co., TN, at age 70.      Albro Russell Lawson was born on 23 July 1929 at Hardin, Calhoun Co., IL. He died on 15 March 2010 at Beardstown, IL, at age 80.

     Alexander Harris Lawson was born on 1 March 1912 at San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA, WW II draft registration. He married Elizabeth Delight Stauffer, daughter of Clyde Farquhar Stauffer and Clara W. Knight, on 27 February 1932 at San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA. Alexander Harris Lawson died on 1 February 1978 at San Mateo Co., CA, at age 65.

     Beverly Joyce Lawson was born on 15 January 1937. She married Raymond Edward Hixson, son of Raymond Wendell Hixson and Lona Frances Gray, on 19 November 1955. Beverly Joyce Lawson died on 29 June 1994 at Chatham Co., GA, at age 57.

     Dr. Charles E. Lawson was born on 4 August 1923 at Parkersburg, Wood Co., WV. He began military service WW II service, U.S. Army Air Corps, Sgt. He married Evelyne Pauline Tinkler. Dr. Charles E. Lawson married Jo Anne T. Silver, daughter of Everett Deloss Silver and Adaline Maxheim Snyder. Dr. Charles E. Lawson died on 22 September 2008 at age 85. He was buried at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ, Findagrave #36502941.

     Charles Francis Lawson was born on 29 August 1886 at Jarbalo, Leavenworth Co., KS; WW II draft registration. He married Elsie May Snapp, daughter of Newton F. Snapp and Emma E. Adams, on 7 April 1906 at Jefferson Co., KS. Charles Francis Lawson lived in 1942 at RFD 5, Manhattan, Riley Co., KS, Employed by Kansas State College, per WW II draft registration. He died in 1961. He was buried in 1961 at Valley View Memorial Park, Pottawatomie Co., KS, Findagrave #114382378.

     Frieda F. Lawson was born on 22 July 1913 at Ozawkie, Jefferson Co., KS. She was the daughter of Charles Francis Lawson and Elsie May Snapp. Frieda F. Lawson married Howard Dell Tubbs in 1932. Frieda F. Lawson married Lewis Wayne Wilson on 17 June 1946 at Girard, Crawford Co., KS; after Frieda's death, Wayne married Susie (Fisher) Gribble (1912-1998.) Frieda F. Lawson died on 13 January 1987 at Manhattan, Riley Co., KS, at age 73

Mrs. Freida F. Wilson, 73, Manhattan, died Jan. 13 at a Manhattan hospital.

Mrs. Wilson worked at Richards Auto Parts, Inc., at Manhattan before she retired.

She was born July 22, 1913, at Ozawkie, the daughter of Frank and Elsie Snap (sic) Lawson.

She was married to L. Wayne Wilson June 17, 1946, at Girard. He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Larry Tubbs, Miami, Fla., and Howard Tubbs and Marlin Wilson, both of Manhattan; and five grandchildren.

Services were Jan. 16, followed by Rebekah services by Lodge No. 689 at Cowan-Edwards-Yorgensen Funeral Home, Manhattan. Burial was in Valley View Memorial Gardens east of Manhattan.

She was buried in January 1987 at Valley View Memorial Park, Pottawatomie Co., KS, Findagrave #114411849.

     Gary Steven Lawson was born on 23 November 1946 at Salina, Saline Co., KS. He was the son of Dr. Charles E. Lawson and Evelyne Pauline Tinkler. Gary Steven Lawson died on 10 September 1972 at San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA, at age 25. He was buried in September 1972 at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma, San Mateo Co., CA, Findagrave #87719040.

     Harry Oliver Lawson was born on 21 March 1888 at Oshkosh, Winnebago Co., WI. He married Mary D. Cameron, daughter of Andrew Dickson Cameron and Verna Abbey Wagner, after April 1940. Harry Oliver Lawson died in September 1954 at Cook Co., IL, at age 66 his death notice in the 21 SEP 1954 edition of the Chicago Tribune names Deborah Delaney as his daughter. Apparntly he raised her after he married her mother.

     Henry C. Lawson was born circa 1884 at Indiana. He married Ida B. Gordon, daughter of Eli Gordon and Sarah Jane Smith.

     J. Blaine Lawson married Orza Casto, daughter of Frederick Armstrong Casto and Hettie Jane Windle, on 12 August 1926.

     James Edward Lawson was born on 2 November 1921. He married Wanda Maxine (?). James Edward Lawson died on 24 July 2005 at age 83.

     Laura Lawson was born in January 1874 at Virginia.¹ She married Robert C. Stokes circa 1896.¹ Laura Lawson died in 1908 at Scott Co., VA. She was buried in 1908 at Morrison Cemetery, Scott Co., VA, Find A Grave Memorial# 34117522.

     Lefa Linette Lawson was born on 7 October 1910 at Oskaloosa, Jefferson Co., KS. She was the daughter of Charles Francis Lawson and Elsie May Snapp. Lefa Linette Lawson married Floyd M. Wilson. Lefa Linette Lawson lived between 1935 and 25 April 1940 at Blue Twp., Pottawatomie Co., KS, farming.¹ She died on 18 October 1965 at St. Mary Hospital, Manhattan, Riley Co., KS, at age 55

Lefa Linette Wilson
Lefa Linette Wilson, Rt. 1, died this morning at St. Mary Hospital. She had been a resident of this community for the past 40 years. She was born October 7, 1910, at Oskaloosa.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd, of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Basart, Wichita, Mrs. Frieda Smith, Rt. 1, three sons, Robert, 2011 Hillview Dr., Donald and Leroy of the home, seven grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Wayne Wilson, Rt. 5, and Mrs. Clarence Neely, Topeka.

Services will be held at the Burliew, Cowan, Edwards Chapel, Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. Dr. Samuel S. George will officiate. Interment will be in the Valley View Memorial Gardens. Friends wishing, in lieu of flowers, may contribute to the Cancer Fund.

     Lewis E. Lawson was born on 10 January 1893. He married Hattie Seattle Walk, daughter of John Edward Walk and Mary Catherine Mathes, on 31 March 1923.

     Lewis Gordon Lawson was born on 9 January 1926. He was the son of Lewis E. Lawson and Hattie Seattle Walk. Lewis Gordon Lawson died on 23 April 1934 at age 8.

     Lucinda Lawson was born in February 1878 at Virginia.¹ She married Andrew Jackson Cole circa 1897 at Pulaski Co., VA.¹ Lucinda Lawson died on 22 January 1940 at VA at age 61.

     Mary Lawson married James Montgomery Quesenberry, son of John Riley Quesenberry and Nancy Moore.

     Mary Elizabeth Lawson was born on 12 June 1871 at Carroll Co., VA. She married James Claude Montgomery Quesenberry. Mary Elizabeth Lawson died on 23 September 1968 at Pulaski, Pulaski Co., VA, at age 97.      Nellie Forrester Lawson was born on 17 January 1907. She was the daughter of Charles Francis Lawson and Elsie May Snapp. Nellie Forrester Lawson married Clarence G. Neely on 15 April 1941 at Manhattan, Riley Co., KS. Nellie Forrester Lawson died on 18 February 1976 at Topeka, Shawnee Co., KS, at age 69. She was buried in February 1976 at Prairie Home Cemetery, Topeka, Shawnee Co., KS, Findagrave #53253784.
