Sarah Jane (Leeper) Mancieri, age 73, of Conway, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2012. She was born on February 22, 1939 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late George Leeper and Ritta Lucille (Jeffery) Leeper Schaer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Nicholas Mancieri; and two sisters, Judy Beegle and Betty Lou Walter.

Sarah is survived by two daughters, Robin Mancieri Nicpan (David) of Vilonia and Lisa Mancieri Kelley (Rick) of Vilonia; a beloved granddaughter, Danielle Lynn Nicpan of Conway. She is also survived by three sisters and a brother Georgeanna King of Judsonia, Ruthie (Kenny)Kennedy of Byesville, Ohio, Eithel Patterson of Byesville, Ohio and Michael Beghin of Massillon, Ohio.

Sarah was a veteran of the Women's Army Corps of the United States Army and an avid Bible reader. She devoted her life to the Lord, her children and her only grandchild. She had a love for children and cared for many. She loved people and they loved her back. She had a special something that attracted people to her. She had a smile that could light up any room and she loved to laugh and make others laugh with her. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.

A special thanks to all the nursing aides and nurses at Salem Place Nursing and Rehab for the care and comfort they provided to her for the last two and a half years. They were her caregivers but also her friends. A special thanks also to Odyssey Hospice for their care in her final days of life.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012, 5:00-7:00pm, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (501)327-7727. Graveside service will be Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 1:00pm at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with LtCol Stephen D. Kelley (ret) officiating.

     Violet Marie Leeper was born on 5 July 1912 at Hancock Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of William Oliver Leeper and Mary Elizabeth Philippi.¹ Violet Marie Leeper married Everett H. Eatherton, son of Sheridan Eatherton and Nora Belle McClelland, on 13 June 1932 at Williams Co., OH. Violet Marie Leeper died on 6 January 1999 at Findlay, Hancock Co., OH, at age 86.

     William Oliver Leeper was born on 1 October 1875 at Cessna Twp., Hardin Co., OH.^1,2 He was the son of John Franklin Leeper and Susanna Catharine Windle.¹ William Oliver Leeper married Mary Elizabeth Philippi, daughter of Joseph Philippi and Almira Wolfrom, circa 1894, Six children born, four living as of 1910 census.² William Oliver Leeper lived on 13 June 1900 at Jackson Twp., Paulding Co., OH, farming.² He lived on 3 May 1910 at Jackson Twp., Hancock Co., OH, General farming.³ He lived on 20 January 1920 at 2215 Washington Avenue, Findlay, Hancock Co., OH, Factory laborer.⁴ He died on 2 December 1942 at Hancock Co., OH, at age 67.      Ida Louise Leese was born on 14 June 1870 at Pennsylvania.¹ She married John Hardick. Ida Louise Leese died on 14 January 1956 at age 85. She was buried in January 1956 at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, Lebanon Co., PA, Findagrave #72980527.

     Note: Given name was Elizabeth, but she never used it. Her will is signed "Lizzie." Lizzie Annie Leese was born on 21 January 1890. She was the daughter of Obediah M. Leese and Emaline Hoffmaster. Lizzie Annie Leese married George Washington Starr, son of Stacy B. Starr and Harriet K. Sheetz, on 9 July 1909. Lizzie Annie Leese died on 16 August 1960 at age 70.

     Obediah M. Leese married Emaline Hoffmaster. Obediah M. Leese was born on 24 August 1862. He died on 10 August 1925 at Rohrerstown, Lancaster Co., PA, at age 62.

     Stanley William Leesher was also known as Stanley William Leisher His birth name, and his father's surname, was Leisher, a German-origin name. His marriage record shows "Leisher", but thereafter he appears to have used "Leesher" exclusively, including for his son. DLB 2020.
