Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 13, 1999, for Trent William Mackey, infant son of Thomas and Lynette Mackey, Shawnee, who passed away at the Midwest City Regional Hospital Friday evening , July 9, 1999. Trent was born May 13, 1999 at the Renaissance Women's Center, Midwest City. Survivors in addition to his
parents are a sister, Morgan Jane age 4 and a brother, Trevor Wesley age 2 of the home, Grandparents Lou Jean and Doyle Tampleton, and Richard and Vicky Mackey. Great-grandparents are Marie and Everett Skinner, and Horace Petete all of Holdenville. Aunts and Uncles, Sheri and Darrel Messner, Tecumseh; Wayne Tampleton, Anchorage, Alaska; David and Kathryn Mackey, Shawnee. Cousins, Justin and Derek Messner; Laura, Baily and Hunter Mackey. He is also survived by numerous other family members.
Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Bob Searl at the University Baptist Church, Shawnee. Interment we in the Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Barnes and Johnson Funeral Home, Midwest City. A benevolent fund has been established at BancFirst, 1939 N. Harrison. Shawnee, Ok. 74801, in the name of
Trent William Mackey.

Wife Wins Divorce From S. F. Attorney

Mrs. Vere D. MacMillan yesterday in Reno secured a divorce from her husband, Clifford J. MacMillan, San Francisco attorney, living at 815 Carmel Avenue, Berkley, according to an Associated Press dispatch from the Nevada City. Desertion was given as grounds for the action. The complaint stated that the couple was married in Pasadena on June 22, 1920, and that there are no children. A property settlement was made out of court. MacMillan was appointed State Corporation Commissioner in September, 1928 by ex-Governor Richardson, succeeding Edwin M. Daugherty, who had resigned.

Note: It appears that Vere got the house at 815 Carmel Avenue, Albany, Alameda County, California in the divorce. She was living there with her mother in 1930 and with her mother and her second husband, Harold C. McCleary in 1940. Vere married Leslie W. Wilson in 1949.

Clifford James MacMillan married Lorrena Bagley Smith, daughter of Hock Smith and Laura Bagley, on 5 September 1931 at Washoe Co., NV. Clifford James MacMillan died on 1 February 1962 at San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA, at age 66. He was buried in February 1962 at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma, San Mateo Co., CA.

Two Oil Stock Permits Granted
SACRAMENTO, Cal., Dec 11. - The Torrey Pines Oil Company of San Diego has been granted a license to issue stock by Corporation Commissioner Clifford J. MacMillan. The company was authorized to issue 1000 shares of its stock to six persons in exchange for oil property in San Diego county.
The Ahlberg Gasoline Corporation also received a stock permit. The company, which is capitalized at $1,000,000 operated two gasoline absorption plants at Huntington Beach.
