Buckeye Lake, Aug. 12 -- Albert R. Bader, 69, resident of Buckeye Lake 30 years, died Friday at 3:25 p.m. in his home in the Buckeye Lake-Hebron road, following several months' illness.
Mr. Bader was born in Newark, March 5, 1875, the son of Aloysius and Anne Bader. He engaged in the hotel business at Buckeye Lake for a number of years having operated a hotel at Shell Beach and at one time was the operator of the Buckeye Lake Park hotel. The past five years he has been associated with the Ohio Power company there.
Surviving are his widow, the former Daisy Cherry of Newark; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Watkins and Mrs. James E. Lloyd of Logan; two grandsons, Private Don C. Watkins, U.S. Army and John Watkins of Granville; also three brothers, Frank J. Bader, Louis H. Bader and John V. Bader of Newark; two sisters, Miss Regina Bader of Newark and Mrs. Bernard McDonough of St. Louis, Mo.
The deceased was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church, Buckeye Lake.
The body is at the Householder funeral home in Newark and the funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. with a requiem mass in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church and burial will be made in Cedar Hill cemetery.

He was buried in August 1944 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark, Licking Co., OH.

The daughter of William A. and Hanna I. Jenkins Badger, she was born at Adel on Nov. 15, 1910. She lived in Dallas County all of her life, and she had taught school in Dallas County and had also worked for Look Magazine. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Minburn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by a son, Larry Voas; and by a brother, Lauren Badger.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Reaman of Adel; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mary E. Bickel, 71, wife of Anton Bickel, 623 West Ella street, Beatrice, died at a local hospital shortly after noon today after a brief illness.

She was born August 27, 1872, in Germany, came to this country 50 years ago and had lived in Beatrice 45 years.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Frank of Brea, Calif; and Joe of Whittier, Calif; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Erixson, Alliance, Neb; Mrs. Anna Kobjerobski, Omaha; Mrs. Ottilla Butterfield, Lincoln; Mrs. Helen Sisco, Beatrice.
