Sylvia Lee Davault, 84, of Rosebud Mo., passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at her daughter's home in Sullivan.

She was born July 17, 1936, to Ralph and Iva (Hollandsworth) Luhring in Rosebud.

She was united in marriage to Kenneth Davault Sept. 4, 1954, at the Tea Church near Tea.

Sylvia was a member of Boeuff Presbyterian Church in Gerald and Argo Presbyterian Church. She had been manager of Dollar General Store in Owensville for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, water skiing, swimming fishing and visiting with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Iva Luhring; husband, Kenneth Davault; and great-grandchild, Adalyn Marie Smith.

She is survived by her children, Roger Davault of Alton, Ill., Rhonda Davault and Tonya Walters both of Sullivan; brother, Calvin Luhring and wife Naomi of Rosebud; and nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 15 from 9-11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel with Rev. Ron Koppelmann officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
