SYCAMORE -- Clarence M. "Ted" Mann, 69, of 112 E. Saffel Ave., died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday in Wyandot Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health one year and seriously ill 20 days.

A native of Wyandot County, he was born Dec. 9, 1907, to Lewis and Eva Mae (Swerline) Mann. On Oct. 8, 1943, he married Kathryn A. Palmer, who died Oct. 5, 1976.

He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Billie Jean) Bollinger, Upper Sandusky; a grandson, Jeffrey; and two sisters, Mrs. Russell (Ada Mae) Bridinger, Tiffin; and Doris Boyd, Fostoria. Two sisters and one brother are deceased.

A lifetime resident of the Sycamore community, Mr. Mann was a retired sales clerk. He had been employed at the old Schwable Hardware in Tiffin.

Services Sunday at 2 p.m. will be held in the Moore Funeral Home, the Rev. Orion Aubihl officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday.

SYCAMORE -- Lewis D. Mann, 98, Sycamore, died at 9:25 a.m. in Wyandot Manor Nursing Home, Upper Sandusky.

He was born June 23, 1879, in Wyandot County to John D. and Martha (Coldwell) Mann. He married Eva Mae Swerline on Oct. 15, 1903, and she died Jan. 3, 1963.

Surviving are a son, Clarence "Ted", Sycamore, two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Ada Mae) Bridinger, Tiffin; Mrs. Doris Boyd, Fostoria, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Two daughters, one son, one brother and one grandson are deceased.

Mr. Mann was a retired farmer and thrasher. He was a member of Sycamore United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at More Funeral Home, Sycamore, the Rev. Orion _ubihl officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.

Visitation will be after 7 p.m. today, and after 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

     Clifford Ellsworth Manning was born on 30 June 1902. He was the son of William Henry Alvin Manning and Louisa Katharine Semler. Clifford Ellsworth Manning died on 4 November 1916 at age 14.

She was the daughter of William Henry Alvin Manning and Louisa Katharine Semler. Effie Elizabeth Manning died on 1 February 1978 at age 88.

     Harold Charles Manning was born on 8 June 1911. He was the son of Harry Alvin Manning and Rose Weiland.

     Harry Alvin Manning was born on 31 August 1883 at Montgomery Co., OH. He was the son of William Henry Alvin Manning and Louisa Katharine Semler. Harry Alvin Manning married Rose Weiland on 21 June 1905. Harry Alvin Manning died on 20 October 1966 at age 83.
