June E. Carter, 56, of Marysville, died Feb. 21, 1986 after an extended illness.

She was born June 3, 1929 in Stanwood, and had lived in the Marysville area since 1956. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and the Ladies Auxilliary of the Stanwood American Legion Post no. 92.

She leaves her mother, Della Martin of Marysville; her husband, Jack at home; a son and daughtter in-law, Gary and Wendy of Camano Island; daughter and son in-law, Marion and Greg Gehrman of Camano Island; a granddaughter, Becca; and four grandsons, Jeff, John, Jacob and Tony.

Memorial services 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with pastors Lou Gabrielson and Mark Peterson officiating. Private burial Marysville Cemetery. Visitation hours will be Sunday, 12 noon to 4 p.m. and Monday noon to 8 p.m. at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Marysville Fire Dept. Aid Fund or the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Building Fund.
