     Harry William McDaniel was born on 22 October 1908 at Morgantown, Monongalia Co., WV, WW II draft registration.¹ He was the son of Albert B. McDaniel and Lillian D. Wolfe.¹ Harry William McDaniel married June Arzanna McAtee, daughter of Thomas Luther McAtee and Nancy May Mace, in 1938 at Wood Co., WV, no children. Harry William McDaniel lived in 1942 at Rt. 1, Parkersburg, Wood Co., WV, WW II draft registration. He lived at Gainesville, Alachua Co., FL. He died on 7 September 1992 at Brevard Co., FL, at age 83. He was buried in September 1992 at Brevard Memorial Park, Cocoa, Brevard Co., FL, Findagrave #135540842.

     Horace B. McDaniel was born on 22 March 1870 at New Florence, Montgomery Co., MO. He was the son of Thomas McDaniel and Matilda Hunter. Horace B. McDaniel married Dorothy T. Powell, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Powell and Mary Margaret DaVault, on 11 May 1895 at Montgomery Co., MO. Horace B. McDaniel died on 20 November 1903 at Newport, Jackson Co., AR, at age 33. He was buried in November 1903 at New Florence Cemetery, New Florence, Montgomery Co., MO.

     Horace Frank McDaniel was born on 17 February 1925 at St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Frank Horace McDaniel and Mary Elizabeth Hively. Horace Frank McDaniel married Joyce Teal, daughter of Ellis Teal and Rosa Barefield, on 24 July 1945 at Eufaula, Barbour Co., AL. Horace Frank McDaniel died on 3 October 2010 at Salt Lake Co. (probably), UT, at age 85.

     John McDaniel married Mary Boone, daughter of John Boone and Rebecca (?). John McDaniel died circa 1811 at Kentucky.

     Joseph Cyril McDaniel was born on 18 March 1923 at Morse Bluff, Saunders Co., NE; son of Joseph E. and Sophia R. (Codr) McDaniel. He married Doris Emma Forrest, daughter of Granville Lawson Forrest and Bessie Pearle Baumgardner, on 11 April 1947 at Santa Monica, Los Angeles Co., CA. Joseph Cyril McDaniel died on 18 March 2004 at Laverne, Rock Co., MN, at age 81

Joseph C. McDaniel, 81, Lake Wilson, died Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne.

Funeral services were Monday, March 22 at the Hartquist Funeral Chapel.

Interment was at St. Martin Catholic Cemetery, Woodstock with military honors by the Lake Wilson American Legion and the Pipestone VFW Post #3814.

Joseph Cyril McDaniel was born to Joseph E. and Sophie (Codr) McDaniel on March 18, 1923 in Morse Bluff, Neb. He grew up on several farms in the Morse Bluff area and attended country school.

In 1941, he moved with his family to Calhoun, Iowa where he worked as a farm laborer. On September 21, 1943, he entered the U.S. Navy and served during World War II on the U.S.S. Petrof Bay. After his active discharge on March 10, 1946, he continued in the Naval Reserves until 1953. Following his discharge, he returned to Missouri Valley, Iowa. A short time later, he moved to Santa Monica, Calif. where he was employed as a painter.

He married Doris Forrest on April 11, 1947 in Santa Monica. After they were married, they moved to Colorado Springs, Colo. and worked there as a painter for the next three years. In 1950, they moved back to Missouri Valley, Iowa where Joe started farming his parents' farm. In 1954, they moved to Milford, Iowa and farmed there until 1957 when they moved to Lake Wilson. They farmed several farms in the Lake Wilson area. In 1980, they moved to Urbana, Mo. where Joe worked at Hudson Foods and also drove school bus. In 1984, he returned to the farm in Chanarambie Township, near Lake Wilson. Doris preceded him in death on March 6, 2003. In November 2003, Joe was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He became a resident of the Minnesota Veterans Home on Feb. 23, 2004.

While living in Lake Wilson, he attended St. Martin's Catholic Church in Woodstock. He was a member of the Herbert Holtke American Legion Post #285 in Lake Wilson and the VFW Post #3814 in Pipestone.

He is survived by his nine children, John (Judy) McDaniel, Eden Prairie; Steven (Trish), Council Bluffs, Iowa; Paul (Sherri) McDaniel, Council Bluffs; Jean (David) Waldron, Lake Wilson; Thomas (Cathy) McDaniel, Council Bluffs; Cheryl (Don) Welu, Marshall; Earl (Bonnie) McDaniel, Madison, S.D; Joel McDaniel, Lake Wilson and Dale (Kim) McDaniel, Mountain Lake; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine Thurman, Freemont, Neb. and Mildred Beck, New Castle, Colo; two brothers, Raymond McDaniel, Pisga, Iowa and Albert McDaniel, Isle; and special friend, Betty Crawford, Sioux Falls, S.D.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris and his brother, Francis McDaniel.

Lena McDaniel died on 26 November 2000 at age 90. She was buried in November 2000 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg, Wood Co., WV, Findagrave #57984769.

     Lucy McDaniel was born in 1778 at Virginia. She married Jeremiah Osborn in 1799. Lucy McDaniel died circa 1818 at Clark Co., OH.

     Margaret McDaniel was born on 14 February 1800 at Kentucky.¹ She married Jacob Coon, son of Solomon Coon and Barbara Beaver, on 27 May 1824 at Rush Co., IN. Margaret McDaniel died on 14 January 1879 at Wabash Co., IN, at age 78.

     Lt. Col. Marion Elmer McDaniel was born on 2 March 1916 at West Virginia.¹ He was the son of Albert B. McDaniel and Lillian D. Wolfe.¹ Lt. Col. Marion Elmer McDaniel began military service on 2 March 1941 WW II service, U.S. Army, enlisted, released 1 MAR 1942. He married Brenda Jean Greenhow on 3 April 1945 at Exmouth, Devon, England. Lt. Col. Marion Elmer McDaniel married Esther Montgomery Payne on 21 May 1961 at San Francisco Co., CA, Esther was first married to Marvin R. Montooth (1918 - 2009). Marion was first married to Brenda Jean (1921 - 1960.) Lt. Col. Marion Elmer McDaniel lived at Petaluma, Sonoma Co., CA. He died on 25 June 2007 at age 91. He was buried in 2007 at San Francisco National Cemetery, San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA, Findagrave #21746150.

     Mary Ann McDaniel was born in July 1831 at Belmont Co., OH.¹ She married Isaac Waggoner on 18 December 1851 at Belmont Co., OH. Mary Ann McDaniel died on 9 February 1904 at Batesville, Noble Co., OH, at age 72. She was buried in February 1904 at Batesville Cemetery, Batesville, Noble Co., OH, Findagrave #139230890.

     Nancy Mae McDaniel was born on 1 May 1876 at Marion Co. (probably), IA.¹ She was the daughter of Edgar McDaniel and Elmira Jane Farris.¹ Nancy Mae McDaniel died on 23 May 1882 at age 6.

     Nezzie M. McDaniel married Virgil Windle, son of Peter Windle and Cynthia Gradeless, on 30 January 1907 at Noble Co., IN.

     Stella Frances McDaniel was born on 14 April 1892. She married Jake Painter. Stella Frances McDaniel died on 24 May 1971 at Springfield, Greene Co., MO, at age 79 Obituary (findagrave.com):

Mrs. Stella F. Painter, 79, a lifelong resident of the Nixa community, died at 12:45 a.m. today at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Mrs. Painter helped write articles for the Nixa paper in the "Buzzard's Roost" column.
She was a member of the James River Chapel Church of Christ.
Surviving are Jake of the home; three sons, Claude R. of Branson, Ray K of Nixa; and Leslie E. Painter, Vinita, Okla; two daughters , Mrs. Norma Inman, Independence, and Mrs. Marcia Haworth of Nixa; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Earl McDaniel, Nixa.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Harris Chapel here with Edward Buttram oficiating. Burial will be in the McConnell Memorial Cemetery.

     Grizella N. McDill was born on 27 April 1831. She was the daughter of Thomas McDill and Jennie Caldwell. Grizella N. McDill married Thomas Lackey Ramsey, son of Samuel Ramsey and Sabina Gilmore, on 17 January 1861 at Preble Co., OH, ceremony by Rev. Joseph MacHatton. Grizella N. McDill died on 28 November 1900 at age 69. She was buried in December 1900 at Hopewell Cemetery, Morning Sun, Preble Co., OH, unmarked grave. Findagrave #39804862.
