     George McKallys married Amy Harrison Eastman, daughter of Arthur Randall Eastman and Mary Lee.¹ George McKallys died in 1910.¹

     Everett McKamey was born on 14 November 1902. He married Gladys Wilkin, daughter of Joseph Wilkin and Minnie J. Mabin, on 21 February 1925. Everett McKamey died on 29 September 1990 at age 87.

     Myrta McKamey was born on 25 May 1882 at Highland Co., OH. She married Samuel Benton Wilkin, son of Samuel Wilkin and Roseannah Webster, on 11 September 1907 at Highland Co., OH. Myrta McKamey died on 27 July 1967 at Highland Co., OH, at age 85.

     Rhoda McKasson was born in 1799 at Tennessee. She married John Sennet. Rhoda McKasson died on 4 February 1849 at Tazewell Co., IL.

     Betty Jane McKay was born on 5 January 1928 at Columbia Co., OR. She married Lenley D. Shaffer, son of Lyn Shaffer and Pearl R. Lahmon, on 17 November 1943 at Riverside, Riverside Co., CA. Betty Jane McKay died on 31 August 2007 at Portland, Multnomah Co., OR, at age 79 Obituary (findagrave.com #73351506):

Memorial services were held for Betty Shaffer Sept. 7 at the Bay City United Methodist Church.

Betty Jane Shaffer was born Jan. 5, 1928, in Kent to George and Dolores (Fenwick) McKay, and died Aug. 31, 2007, in Portland at the age of 79.

Mrs. Shaffer grew up and attended school in Vernonia as a youth. Later her family moved to Bay City. Mrs. Shaffer married Lenley Shaffer Nov. 17, 1943, in Riverside, Calif. She worked in the Kaiser shipyards in Portland during World War II and later at the Oyster Plant in Bay City on several occasions.

Mrs. Shaffer was active in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the 1970s.

She is survived by her son, Todd Shaffer and his wife Kristi of Gladstone; sister, June Mapes of Port Orchard, Wash; three brothers, George McKay of Bay City, Barney McKay of Eugene and Mike McKay of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenley Shaffer, and sister, Colleen Hains.

A private inurnment will be at Bay City IOOF Cemetery.

     Ethel McKay was born circa 1898 at Oklahoma.² She was the daughter of Peter Waggoner McKay and Carrie Centinneal Boyle.¹ Ethel McKay married Dale Payne Boling, son of Charles Albertus Boling and Mary Ellen Payne, circa 1916.²

     Frances McKay was born on 10 October 1869 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She married Charles Tallman Watkins, son of John William Watkins and Nancy Elizabeth Tallman, circa 1896, no children as of 1910 census.^1,2 Frances McKay died on 1 February 1949 at Delaware, Delaware Co., OH, at age 79.

     John Archibald McKay M.D. was born on 29 November 1891 at Buies Creek, Harnett Co., NC. He was the son of Joseph Foy McKay M.D. and Martha Rogers. John Archibald McKay M.D. was graduated; Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He married Annie Louisa Sarrett, daughter of James Crockett Sarrett and Annie Laura Ballard, on 18 January 1932 at Knoxville, Knox Co., TN. Occupation: Psychiatrist for some 50 years at Mercer, Pennsylvania and Fayetteville, North Carolina. John Archibald McKay M.D. died on 11 January 1976 at Fayetteville, Cumberland Co., NC, at age 84. He was buried in January 1976 at Lafayette Memorial Cemetery, Fayetteville, Cumberland Co., NC.

Smith.¹ Ruth Irenen McKay married William Jean Halley, son of John Calvin Halley and Golda May Johnson, on 5 June 1954 at Kokomo, Howard Co., IN, Ruth was first married to Arthur Loveland, before APR 1940. Ruth I. (McKay) Halley, 93, Kokomo, passed away at 4:06 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at Fairmont Rehabilitation Center. Ruth was born Oct. 13, 1916, in Vevay, to the late Elmer E. and Edith M. (Smith) McKay. Her marriage to William J. Halley, who preceded her in death, was on June 5, 1954, in Kokomo.

She worked at Reliance for four years, The Globe, was manager of Heaton’s Restaurant, Montgomery Ward and sold Avon Cosmetics for 32 years. She was a member of the Eagles No. 255, the Senior Citizen Club and a life member of Calvary Baptist Church. Ruth also loved to crochet, read, and work word search and crossword puzzles. Her children and her home meant the world to her.

Survivors are two daughters, Linda Henry and husband James, Kokomo, and Ruthann Bates, Kokomo; two sons, Jack Loveland and wife Bev, Kokomo, and John Halley and wife Marilyn, Kokomo; a sister, Mary Barnes, Washington State; six grandchildren, Nancy Dunbar, Cindy Russell, Steven Dance, Artie Loveland, Michael Henry and Barbra Pardue; a step-grandson, Randy Morris; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchil

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William J. Halley; four brothers; one sister; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St. Services are 1 p.m. Friday at the mortuary, with Pastor Stephen Beutler officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

McKean married Simeon Berry, son of James Berry and Rachel Ann Larimore, on 15 October 1868 at Tazewell Co., IL, Ten children born to the marriage, eight living as of the 1900 census.³

     W. H. McKean was born circa 1809 at Ohio.¹ He married Harriet (?).¹

     Anna McKee was born in 1839 at Pennsylvania.¹ She married John W. Martin.¹ Anna McKee died on 18 March 1874 at Berkeley Co., WV. She was buried in March 1974 at Norbourne Parish Cemetery, Martinsburg, Berkeley Co., WV.

     Note: A "Nancy Mckey", born 1868, is found in the 1870 census of Pebble Twp., Pike County, Ohio. Anna S. McKee was born on 23 September 1868. She married Elmer Valentine Cornelius, son of George W. Cornelius and Caroline M. Phelps. Anna S. McKee died on 30 April 1941 at age 72.

     Rev. Charles Fahrney McKee was born on 3 December 1870 at Beaver Creek, Washington Co., MD. He was the son of Samuel McKee and Barbara Fahrney.¹ Rev. Charles Fahrney McKee married Iva S. Kaylor, daughter of Thomas Kaylor and Hannah Stouffer, on 16 March 1897, Ceremony by Rev. Daniel F. Stouffer (uncle of the bride.)¹ Occupation: Minister, Church of the Brethren in 1926 at Covington, Miami Co., OH.¹ Rev. Charles Fahrney McKee died on 9 May 1945 at age 74.

Mrs. Hazen was born at Brooklyn, Iowa, on March 24,1869 and was the daughter of the late Finley and Eliza Harper McKee. Mrs. Hazen was a school teacher having taught in Franklin Township, Connellsville, Carnegie and Wilkinsburg. She was a member of the Little Redstone Presbyterian Church; the Missionary Society and the Presbyteriat; the Colonel Andrew Lynn Chapter, D. A. R., the Dorcas Class of the Perry Methodist Church and the Perry W. C. T. U. She was predeceased by her husband, James Piersol Hazen on November 22, 1953 (error: 1935 - see obit for James P. Hazen.) Surviving are three children: Benjamin Finley of Columbus, Ohio; Thomas of Bloomfield, N. J. and James McKee of Uniontown; seven grandchildren; onme isster; Miss Mary E. McKee of Perryopolis and one brother, Joel S. McKee of New Castle. Friends will be received at the Ira Blair & Sons Chapel, Perryopolis after one o'clock Thursday, where services will be conducted Saturday at two o'clock with Rev.
