CLARA KATHERINE TATRO

Clara Katherine McGuire was born at Iuka, Kansas, October 5, 1904 and passed away June 6th, 1927, at Alva, Oklahoma, age 22 years, 8 months and 1 day.

She was united in marriage November 14, 1921 to Ralph C. Tatro at Kingman, Kansas. To this union two children were born, Ralph Junior, age 4, and Ada Marie, age 21 months. She leaves to mourn the two children, her faithful husand, her mother Mrs. Fred Tatro, five brothers, Roy, John, Ernest, Fred and Eddie McGuire and one-half (sic) brother Albert Nelson, besides other relatives and a host of friends. Two brothers Clarence and Lee died some years ago.

Mrs. Tatro was converted and became a member of the Christian church at Spivey, Kansas at the age of twelve and lived the Christian life to the end. She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Tatro possessed a cheerful, loving dispposition and numbered her friends by her acquaintances. Mr. and Mrs. Tatro have made Alva their home for three and one-half years. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the First Christian church Rev. J. T. Wheeler , pastor preaching the funeral sermon. Interment was made in the A.O.U.W. cemetery.

Frank McGuire married Margaret Waters, daughter of James Doson Waters and Leah Catherine Roush, on 30 May 1896.¹ Frank McGuire lived in June 1900 at Carmi Twp., Pratt Co., KS, farming.¹ He lived on 6 July 1910 at Taloga Twp., Morton Co., KS, farming.² He died on 16 August 1915 at Osawatomie, Miami Co., KS, at age 50. PALMRYA---Sarah Catherine Cooley, 92, died Monday at Westminister Healthcare Center in Clarksville.
She was the former Sarah Catherine McHone, a native of Borden and a member of Greenville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Randall Cooley; a daughter, Betty Schmidt of Scranton Penn; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Love Funeral Home, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. tomorrow and after 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral services for Sarah McHome Cooley, 92, of Palmyra, will be held at 1 p.m. EST Friday, Aug. 27, at Love Funeral Home, with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. She died Monday, Aug. 23, 1999, at Westminster health Care Center in Clarksville.
She was a member of Greenville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Randall Cooley, Palmyra, a daughter, Betty Schmidt, Scranton, Pa; five grandchildren. and seven great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Leroy Cooley.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 26, and after 9 a.m. Friday.

She was buried in August 1999 at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery, New Albany, Floyd Co., IN, Findagrave #162742742.

     Bartholomew Patrick McHugh was born on 2 December 1903 at Ohio. He began military service on 17 July 1942 at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH, WW II service, enlisted, was divorced without dependents as of the enlistment date.      Burton Kridler McIlnay was born on 21 February 1883 at Ogle Co., IL.^1,2 He was the son of Zachariah Taylor McIlnay and Rebecca Jane Abbott. Burton Kridler McIlnay lived on 12 June 1900 at Pine Creek Twp., Ogle Co., IL, farm laborer, living with the George Barnhizer family.³ He married Verna Barnhizer, daughter of David Barnhizer and Mary Catharine Miller, on 3 January 1906.¹ Burton Kridler McIlnay lived on 25 April 1910 at Buffalo Twp., Ogle Co., IL, farming.² He lived on 5 January 1920 at Pleasant Street, Osage, Mitchell Co., IA, automobile agent.⁴ Occupation: Mechanic in 1926 at Osage, Mitchell Co., IA.⁵ He died on 17 October 1974 at Elmwood, Pierce Co., WI, at age 91.⁶ He was buried in October 1974 at Mt.      Mary J. McIlnay was born on 6 August 1916 at Mitchell Co., IA.¹ She was the daughter of Burton Kridler McIlnay and Verna Barnhizer. Mary J. McIlnay lived between 1953 and 1974 at Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., IA, Mary is listed in the Cedar Rapids city directories in the 1950s, working as a stenographer and secretary, and was still living there when her father passed in 1974. She died on 29 September 1994 at Pearce, Cochise Co., AZ, at age 78. She was buried in 1994 at Pearce Cemetery, Pearce, Cochise Co., AZ, Findagrave #18117955.

     Mildred Willys McIlnay was born on 4 June 1915 at Osage, Mitchell Co., IA.¹ She was the daughter of Burton Kridler McIlnay and Verna Barnhizer. Mildred Willys McIlnay married Forrest Howard Johnson, son of Albin Robert Walfred Johnson and Treva Leota Paul, on 9 October 1937 at Osage, Mitchell Co., IA. Mildred Willys McIlnay lived on 5 April 1940 at 507 Fourteenth Street S.E., Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., IA.² She died on 8 February 2006 at age 90.
