IUKA - Richard A. McRee, 79, retired president of Iuka Guaranty Bank after 51 years, died Wednesday at his home. Graveside services were Friday at Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors. Cutshall Funeral Home had charge. He was a World War II Army veteran, who received a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star, the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze stars, the American Campaign Medal and the Victory Medal. He was also a Paul Harris Fellow at the Iuka Rotary Club, a National Guard veteran, an Episcopalian and a member of the Mississippi Bankers Association 50-Year Club. Mr. McRee, the husband of Jane Whitten McRee, also leaves a daughter, Marcia Ross of Mission, Texas, and a son, Mike McRee of Iuka.

He was buried in March 2002 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Iuka, Tishomingo Co., MS, Findagrave #15560689.

     Claude W. McReynolds was born on 28 August 1896 at Iowa. He married Mae V. McClintic, daughter of George McClintic and Dora Boling, on 29 April 1917 at Benton Co., AR. Claude W.
