     Samuel H. Meals was born on 22 June 1813. He was the son of Daniel J. Meals and Mary Ann Coffman.

     Sarah A. Meals was born on 22 September 1826. She was the daughter of Daniel J. Meals and Mary Ann Coffman.

     Susan Meals was born in 1812. She was the daughter of John Meals and Sarah Coffman.

     William Meals was born on 16 June 1832 at Alabama. He was the son of Daniel J. Meals and Mary Ann Coffman. William Meals married Julia Percy on 25 July 1866. William Meals died on 4 December 1894 at age 62.

     Grace Maude Augusta Mean was born on 25 October 1908. She married Herbert Vernon Iden, son of Vernon J. Iden and Etta Mae Flinn, on 22 August 1940, Grace was first married to Theodore J. McConkey in 1929. Grace Maude Augusta Mean died on 27 June 2003 at King Co., WA, at age 94.

     Ella Mary Means was born on 6 February 1860 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL. She married Charles Henry King in 1881. Ella Mary Means died on 6 January 1946 at Traverse City, Grand Traverse Co., MI, at age 85. She was buried in January 1946 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elk Rapids, Antrim Co., MI, Findagrave #26440175.

     Ida Effie Means was born on 27 November 1870. She married Alonzo Walls, son of Levi Walls and Harriet Richey, on 29 September 1921 at Ross Co., OH.      Helen Mears was born circa 1926 at Louisiana.¹ She was the daughter of Lewis Hunt Mears and Nellie Josephine Lampitt.¹

     Henrietta Mears was also known as "Nettie".¹ She was born on 16 April 1863 at Muskingum Co., OH.¹ She married Robert C. Burwell circa 1884.¹ Henrietta Mears died on 27 January 1940 at Muskingum Co., OH, at age 76.      Lewis Hunt Mears was born on 11 January 1885 at Louisiana.¹ He was the son of Walter S. Mears and Virginia Hunt.² Lewis Hunt Mears married Nellie Josephine Lampitt, daughter of Herbert Arthur Lampitt and Emma McCown, on 10 June 1908 at Pekin, Tazewell Co., IL.      Marie Mears was born circa 1920 at Louisiana.¹ She was the daughter of Lewis Hunt Mears and Nellie Josephine Lampitt.¹

     Raymond Rufus Mears was born on 30 October 1937 at Bakersfield, Kern Co., CA.¹ He was the son of Virgil Elisha Mears and Mayme Mearl Willhite.¹ Raymond Rufus Mears married Patricia Ruth Brians, daughter of Durwood Reese Brians and Geraldine Charlotte McCluhan, on 25 August 1959 at Kern Co., CA. Raymond Rufus Mears died on 9 September 2014 at age 76.

     Sula Louise Mears was also known as "Lucille". She was born on 18 June 1909 at Orleans Par., LA.¹ She was the daughter of Lewis Hunt Mears and Nellie Josephine Lampitt.¹

     Virgil Elisha Mears was born on 7 December 1913 at Douglas Co., MO.¹ He married Mayme Mearl Willhite. Virgil Elisha Mears died on 18 September 1997 at Kern Co., CA, at age 83. He was buried in September 1997 at Union Cemetery, Bakersfield, Kern Co., CA, Findagrave #86551980.

     Walter S. Mears was born in June 1851 at Louisiana.¹ He married Virginia Hunt on 5 June 1880 at Orleans Par., LA. Walter S. Mears died on 10 February 1905 at New Orleans, Orleans Par., LA, at age 53.

     William Mebane was born. He married Elizabeth I. Meals, daughter of Daniel J. Meals and Mary Ann Coffman, on 24 July 1851.

     Terry Lynn Mebius was born on 16 December 1951 at Wessington Springs, Jerauld Co., SD. He died on 13 August 1975 at age 23.

     John Mechem married Sarah Evans.

     Rachel Sarah Mechem was born on 6 February 1811 at OH. She was the daughter of John Mechem and Sarah Evans. Rachel Sarah Mechem married Milton Danford, son of Ambrose Danford and Mary Delancey, on 9 August 1829. Rachel Sarah Mechem died on 14 October 1883 at age 72.

     Martha Jane Mechling was born on 29 July 1857 at Hopewell Twp., Perry Co., OH. She was the daughter of Sheppard Mechling and Lydia Boyer. Martha Jane Mechling married Henry Mathis Saum, son of John Jefferson Saum and Sarah Armstrong, on 24 November 1901 at Perry Co., OH. Martha Jane Mechling was buried at Drumm Lutheran Church Cemetery, Thornville, Fairfield Co., OH.

     Sheppard Mechling married Lydia Boyer.

     Arnel Elwood Medearis was also known as "Zeke". He was born on 22 June 1934 at Stark Co., IL. He was the son of Arnel Webster Medearis and Irma Arlene Smith. Arnel Elwood Medearis died on 29 June 2001 at Peoria, Peoria Co., IL, at age 67

PRINCEVILLE -- Arnel E. "Zeke" Medearis, 66, of Princeville died at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born June 22, 1934, in Wyoming, Ill., to Arnel and Irma Smith Medearis, he married Earline Wisenburg on Sept. 5, 1953, in Sparland. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Pam (and Tim) Snyder of Princeville and Betty Jo (and Denny) Broadway of Edelstein; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean (and Everett) Schaefer of Chillicothe and Lucille (and Arlin) Shofner of Henry; three brothers, Russ (and Linda) of Sparland, Charles (and Marilyn) and Lawrence (and Mary), both of Henry; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother.

He worked for Long Rock Stone Co. for 18 years, retiring in 1983. Prior to that, he worked for the Illinois Highway Department for several years. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers.

He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hammitt Hott Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry Losey will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.
