Bessie Berry is dead at age 59, services Wed.

Mrs. Bessie Berry, 59, 602 2nd St., Nevada, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday at the Story County Hospital.

Mrs. Berry had been ill for the past two years.

Born November 24, 1908 in Polk County, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Mitchell.

She was married to Isaac Berry June 10, 1929 in Nevada.

Surviving are four sons, Robert, Marvin, Raymond and Larry, all of Nevada, two daughters, Miss Margaret Berry of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mrs. Doris Eivins of Earlham, Ia., and fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Ryan Funeral Home Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. the Rev. Azel Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

     Billie Hiram Mitchell was born on 10 April 1925 at Sinton, San Patricio Co., TX. He married Ollie Jane Martin on 16 January 1946 at Nueces Co., TX, license date. BOYCE DAWALT MITCHELL
Boyce Dawalt Mitchell, son of Mrs. Cora Dawalt Lucas, born at South Boston, Indiana on September 9, 1911 and departed this life after a few months illness at Washington County Memorial Hospital on Dec 2, 1954.
On January 19, 1933 he was united in marriage to Thelma Ritchison of Scottsburg, Indiana. To this union four children were born; Mrs. Bonnie Brown, Miss Phyllis Mitchell and Samuel Mitchel, all of Salem and Doris Faye who preceded him in death in infancy.
During his early childhood he attended Bunker Hill Christian Church and in his early teens he was baptized and united with the church.
For the past several years he has been a skilled mechanic at the Goodyear Engineering Plant at Charlestown where his ready kindness and friendship shall never be forgotten.
Besides his loving and devoted wife Thelma and mother he leaves to morn his untimely passing his step-father Reuben W. Lucas, two sisters; Mrs. Audrey Lucas Lottich of New Albany, Indiana, Mrs. Faye Lucas Welborn of Maxwell, Indiana and his brother Ivan Lucas of Salem. His father, Mr. Samuel Mitchell preceded him in death on December 4, 1912 and also two sisters, Catherine Irene and Mary Margaret.
Besides his wife, children, Mother and the son-in-law Daniel Brown, and other immediate relatives he leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at the Christian Church with Rev. William Odar and Rev. George W. Smith officiating and the Dawalt Funeral Home in charge. Burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.

     Charles M. Mitchell was born on 17 July 1861 at Morrow Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Lewis Charles Mitchell and Lenora Ellen Osborn.¹ Charles M. Mitchell died on 15 August 1960 at Morrow Co., OH, at age 99.

     Claudia Elizabeth Mitchell was born on 6 September 1893 at Wrightsboro, Gonzales Co., TX. She married William Oliver Fluitt. Claudia Elizabeth Mitchell died on 5 April 1968 at Post, Garza Co., TX, at age 74. She was buried in April 1968 at Terrace Cemetery, Post, Garza Co., TX, Findagrave #8749974.

     Dolores May Mitchell was born on 14 August 1899 at Henry Co., IN. She married Arnold Cary Tucker on 18 November 1919 at Henry Co., IN. Dolores May Mitchell and Arnold Cary Tucker were divorced before 22 March 1923; Arnold remarried to Katherine Patterson on 22 MAR 1923. Dolores remarried to John B. McMullen on 19 MAY 1928. Funeral rites for Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell Clapper, 68, well known resident of Blue Rock, who died Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Naomi Brewer, Nashport, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Blue Rock Baptist church. Rev. C. H. Starrett will officiate and interment will be in the Blue Rock Cemetery.
