     Johann Jakob Neumann was born circa 1684 at Lambsborn, Palatinate. He was the son of Hans Henrich Neumann and Anna Catharina Trautmann. Johann Jakob Neumann married Anna Dorothea Schäfer in 1714 at Waldmohr, Palatinate. Johann Jakob Neumann died in 1768 at Lambsborn, Palatinate.

     Johann Michael Neumann was born in 1716 at Lambsborn, Palatinate. He was the son of Johann Jakob Neumann and Anna Dorothea Schäfer. Johann Michael Neumann married Maria Margaretha Trautmann, daughter of Hans Michel Trautmann and Maria Catharina Neumüller, in 1744 at Lambsborn, Palatinate.

     Johann Peter Neumann was born in 1679 at Lambsborn, Palatinate. He was the son of Hans Henrich Neumann and Anna Catharina Trautmann. Johann Peter Neumann died in 1730 at Lambsborn, Palatinate.

     Magdalena Neumann was born in 1752 at Lambsborn, Palatinate. She was the daughter of Johann Michael Neumann and Maria Margaretha Trautmann. Magdalena Neumann married Johann Jakob Weber, son of Johann Jakob Weber and Anna Maria Sand, in 1772 at Lambsborn, Palatinate.

     Maria Elisabetha Neumann was the daughter of Johann Jakob Neumann and Anna Dorothea Schäfer.

     Maria Elisabetha Neumann was born in 1745 at Lambsborn, Palatinate. She was the daughter of Johann Michael Neumann and Maria Margaretha Trautmann.

     Maria Magdalena Neumann was the daughter of Johann Jakob Neumann and Anna Dorothea Schäfer.

     Samuel Gene Neumann was born on 17 June 1949. He married Carla Renee Chilton, daughter of Richard Chilton and Janet Elaine Doelling, on 24 July 1991 at Ft. Wayne, Allen Co., IN. Samuel Gene Neumann died on 10 September 2013 at age 64. He was buried in September 2013 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Ft. Wayne, Allen Co., IN, Findagrave #116943735.
Note: Sam Neuman was married first to Dondora Ann Bent on 31 JUL 1965 at Ft. Wayne. They were divorced before Sam remarried on 7 FEB 1986 to Lori Ann Wyandt. Sam Neuman was divorced from his second wife, Lori Ann Wyandt, on 30 APR 1990 at Van Wert County, Ohio.

     Susanna Neumann was the daughter of Hans Henrich Neumann and Anna Catharina Trautmann.

     Maria Margaretha Neumüller was born in 1705 at Mörsbach, Palatinate. She was the daughter of Johann Friedrich Neumüller and Anna Barbara (?)

     Abraham Neuschwanger was also known as Abraham Niswanger. He was born circa 1746 at Frederick Co., VA.¹ He was the son of Jacob Neuschwanger and Maria Gertraut Brombach. Abraham Neuschwanger married Margaret (?). Abraham Neuschwanger died before 11 March 1785 at Frederick Co., VA.¹

     Anna Barbara Neuschwanger was born on 20 March 1712.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Neuenschwander and Susanna Steffen.¹ Anna Barbara Neuschwanger married David Reitner.¹

     Anna Elisabetha Neuschwanger was born on 27 November 1701 at Sandhausen, Palatinate.¹ She was the daughter of Christian Neuenschwander and Anna Magdalena Steffen. Anna Elisabetha Neuschwanger died on 12 April 1717 at Oggersheim, Palatinate, at age 15.

     Anna Maria Neuschwanger was born on 21 May 1702.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Neuenschwander and Susanna Steffen.¹ Anna Maria Neuschwanger died on 12 October 1736 at age 34.¹

     Anna Maria Neuschwanger was born on 16 March 1704 at Mannheim, Kraichgau, Germany.¹ She was the daughter of Christian Neuenschwander and Anna Magdalena Steffen.¹

     Anna Veronica Neuschwanger was born on 2 February 1719.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Neuenschwander and Susanna Steffen.¹

     Betty June Neuschwanger was born on 27 November 1920 at Carroll Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Erve McKinley Neuschwanger and Esther R. Smith.¹ Betty June Neuschwanger married Kenneth Harlan Kosher, son of Clarence Leroy Kosher and Mabel Verne Oberheim, on 25 August 1942. Betty June Neuschwanger died on 2 September 2013 at age 92 Obituary:

Betty June Kosher, age 92, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013. She was born on November 27, 1920 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois the daughter of Ervie and Esther Smith Neuschwanger. On August 25, 1942, she married Kenneth Harlan Kosher in Illinois and was the loving mother of Lyle Dean Kosher of Ross, Ohio. She knew the hard work and benefits of living on a farm. She worked at Ft. Hamilton Hospital in the mid 60’s as a nurse’s aide on the maternity ward. She loved fishing and camping with her husband, son and friends. Betty enjoyed all types of crafts and made many beautiful things that will be treasured by friends and family she shared them with. Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lyle and Peggy Heatherly Kosher; one granddaughter, Becky and her husband, Rusty Sundsvold; one grandson, Jason Lyle Kosher; a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Jim Lindsay; her brother-in-law, Emmerson Kosher; her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Kosher, Gannon and Gavin Frantz, Allisza Dixon and Aidan Sundsvold, Laci Sizemore and Shayson Kosher; great-great granddaughter, Amelia Hagedorn; honorary grandchildren, Niki Reek, Briana Estep, Nakota Reek, Daniel Spivey, and Jesse, Samantha and Lexi Frantz; and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and great grandchild Peyton Lee Sundsvold; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Francis Neuschwanger and Glen and Alice Neuschwanger. A memorial service will be held at Franciscan at Schroder on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 3 p.m. The family wishes to thank her “family” at Franciscan at Schroder, where she resided, for all their loving care.      Catharina Margaretha Neuschwanger was born on 30 August 1705.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Neuenschwander and Susanna Steffen.¹ Catharina Margaretha Neuschwanger married Jacob Keller in 1735.¹ Catharina Margaretha Neuschwanger died on 20 June 1769 at age 63.¹

     Christian Neuschwanger was also known as Christian Niswander. He was born between 1750 and 1752 at Frederick Co., VA.¹ He was the son of Jacob Neuschwanger and Maria Gertraut Brombach. Christian Neuschwanger married Barbara Supinger, daughter of Hans Ulrich Zuppinger and Anna Schonauer, in 1774 at Shenandoah Co., VA, Ceremony by Rev. Peter Muhlenberg. Christian Neuschwanger lived in 1802, Christian and Barbara sold their land in Shenandoah County in February 1802 and relocated to Greene County, Pennsylvania.


Note: Christian "Nisswander" of Greene County, Pennsylvania testified in the Niswonger et al vs. Dickinson et al, lawsuit, otherwise known as the "Panhandle Case" in Wheeling in October 1808. This case was a suit brought by the surviving children of John Neuschwanger, Sr. to try to reclaim land first settled by their brothers. Ohio County, WV Chancery Court, 1808.²

He died on 1 July 1831 at Ohio Co., VA (now WV).³

     Christian Neuschwanger was born on 15 August 1708. He was the son of Christian Neuenschwander and Anna Magdalena Steffen. Christian Neuschwanger died on 20 May 1710 at age 1.

     Erve McKinley Neuschwanger was born on 12 July 1897 at Illinois.¹ He married Esther R. Smith on 7 March 1918. Erve McKinley Neuschwanger died on 8 June 1945 at St. Francis Hospital, Freeport, Stephenson Co., IL, at age 47 Obituary (Findagrave.com):

Erve Neuschwanger, 47, of Mount Carroll, died at 2 p.m. Friday June 8, 1945 in St. Francis Hospital, Freeport, which he entered Monday as a medical patient. Death was the result of an overdose of phenol barbital, a medicine taken by Neuschwanger, who had been in ill health for some time.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Frank Funeral Home in Mount Carroll, the Rev. Stanley A. Birdsall officiating, and burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Son of Christian and Mathilda (Souders) Neuschwanger, he was born July 12, 1897 at Mount Carroll. He married Esther Smith of Mount Carroll on March 7, 1918. They moved from their farm to the city of Mount Carroll last fall. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Harry and Glenn, both of Mount Carroll; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Kosher of Lanark and Doris at home; two grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Fulrath and Mrs. John Jones, both of Mount Carroll, Mrs. Edith Robbe of Savanna, and Mrs. Hugo Kholbry and Mrs. George Mitchell, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and four brothers, Charles, Ward, Earl, and Roy, all of Mount Carroll.

He was buried in June 1945 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll, Carroll Co., IL, Findagrave #74749544.
