FREMONT -- Earl D. Northrup, 73, of Fremont, died Sunday at Dodge County Memorial Hospital, Fremont.
Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel, Fremont, with Elder Frank Spencer of Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Burial is in Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Northrup was born March 1, 1914, at Petersburg. He was reared in Petersburg and served in the U.S. Army from 1933 to 1936. He married Jessie Munsinder (sic) Salter March 12, 1941, at Neligh.
Mr. Northrup moved to Oregon where he resided for 20 years. He later settled in Columbus where he worked for the City Street Department for the City of Columbus. Mr. Northrup moved to Fremont in 1977.
Surviving are his wife, Jessie; four sons, Donavin of Fremont, Frank of Valley, Terry of Salem, Ore., and Danny of Payette, Idaho; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was buried in June 1987 at Ridge Cemetery, Fremont, Dodge Co., NE, Findagrave #91744981.

The Frank Martin Northrup, born 10 APR 1886, whose WW I draft registration shows his residence at Belfry, Montana, may have been the same individual; however no further record of that Frank Northrup is found either.
