     Florence Mae Pausner was born on 6 August 1901. She married George Drumond Smith, son of Byron R. Smith and Ella Jane Starr, in October 1920. Florence Mae Pausner died on 21 January 1940 at age 38.

     August John Pavlacky was born on 10 January 1891. He married Nora Etta Solmon in 1912. August John Pavlacky and Nora Etta Solmon were divorced before 1941. August John Pavlacky died on 4 July 1976 at age 85. He was buried in July 1976 at Sparlin Cemetery, Williams, Josephine Co., OR, Findagrave #50376885.

     Caroline Elaine Pavlacky was born on 22 August 1950. She was the daughter of Kenneth Wesley Pavlacky. Caroline Elaine Pavlacky died in December 1995 at age 45.

     Eric Paul Pavlacky died on 31 January 1976 at Crescent City, Del Norte Co., CA. He was born on 31 January 1976 at Crescent City, Del Norte Co., CA.      Kenneth Wesley Pavlacky was born on 30 May 1921 at Lusk, Niobrara Co., WY. He was the son of August John Pavlacky and Nora Etta Solmon. Kenneth Wesley Pavlacky began military service on 14 March 1941 at Cheyenne, Laramie Co., WY, WW II service, enlisted, U.S. Army. He lived in 2002 at Torrington, Goshen Co., WY. He died on 3 May 2006 at age 84.

     Kirby Lee Pavlacky was born on 7 July 1947 at Lusk, Niobrara Co., WY. He was the son of Melvin August Pavlacky and Dolly Mary Munsinger. Kirby Lee Pavlacky married Donna Marie Patton, daughter of James Preston Patton and Marie Evelyn Turpen. Kirby Lee Pavlacky and Donna Marie Patton were divorced in May 1971 at Stanislaus Co., CA. Kirby Lee Pavlacky died on 2 February 2001 at Coos Bay, Coos Co., OR, at age 53.

     Melvin August Pavlacky was born on 21 December 1923 at Lusk, Niobrara Co., WY. He was the son of August John Pavlacky and Nora Etta Solmon. Melvin August Pavlacky began military service on 29 December 1941 at Ft. Francis E. Warren, Cheyenne, Laramie Co., WY, WW II service, enlisted, served 52 months. He married Dolly Mary Munsinger, daughter of Neville William Munsinger and Vera Margarette Bird, on 9 February 1946. Melvin August Pavlacky died on 1 September 1953 at Lusk, Niobrara Co., WY, at age 29 Obituary (per Findagrave.com):

Melvin A. Pavlacky, 29, of Lusk was killed Tuesday afternoon when a car driven by Richard Leroy Johnson, 19, of Luvern, Ia. crashed into the rear of a Wyoming Highway Department mower Pavlacky was operating about 31 miles north of Lusk.

Pavlacky was evidently thrown from the mower when his slow moving vehicle was hit from the rear. Then the Ford driven by Johnson apparently struck Pavlacky again as he landed on the pavement. Pavlacky's body was thrown 52 feet on the second impact. He died almost instantly. The time of the accident was set at 2:37 when Pavlacky's watch had stopped.

An inquest is being held this Wednesday afternoon but at the Herald's press time the inquest was still in progress.

According to authorities it is almost certain that a charge of involuntary manslaughter will be brought against Johnson.

Those testifying at the hearing are Patrolman M. S. Jordan, Patrolman Gene Curtis, Llyly Miles, Wyoming Highway Department employee, Johnson, Richard and Robert Kain and Archie Huey.

Attorneys Joseph Garst and Richard Maurer of Douglas are attending the inquest on behalf of Johnson's insurance company. County attorney, James Barrett is assisting in questioning the witnesses.

Richard and Robert Kain, both 19, are twins from Algona, Iowa and were riding with Johnson at the time of the accident. All three were held in the Niobrara County jail Tuesday night.

Pavlacky was going north mowing the barrow pit on the right side of the road. The Ford driven by Johnson was also going north. The speed of the Ford has not yet been set. However, the information should be determined at the inquest.

Pavlacky is survived by his wife, Dorothy, two children, Kirby, 6, and Cecil, 2, his father, Gus Pavlacky, living in Oregon, four brothers, Kenneth, Marvin, Everette and Irwin, three sisters, Mildred Pavlacky, Doris Mahnke, and Mildrek Vadavich, his mother, Mrs. Nora Chase of Lusk.

Funeral arrangements are as yet indefinite.

Melvin Pavlacky Funeral Services Are Held Sunday

Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of Peet Mortuary Sunday aftrnoon, Sept. 6 at 2:00 o'clock for Melvin A. Pavlacky who was killed Sept. 1 in a highway accident.

The Rev. Jacob Nein, pastor of the Congregational-Christian Church, officiated at the last rites. The music was provided by five members of the Congregational Choir, who sang "Peace in the Valley," "Mansion Over the Hilltop," and "Sweet Hour of Prayer."

Melvin A. Pavlacky, son of John and Nora Pavlacky, was born Dec. 21, 1923 in Lusk. He was employed with Chicago North Western Railroad for three years and served 52 months in World War II.

On Feb. 9, 1946 he was united in marriage to Dolly Mary Munsinger, and two children were born, Kirby Lee and Cecil LeRoy.

Other survivors are his father of the state of Oregon, and his mother, Mrs. Nora Chase of Lusk; four brothers, Marvin J. of Los Angeles, Calif., Everett Charles of Santa Monica, Calif., Kenneth Wesley of Lusk, and Erwin Gene of Tacoma, Wash; three sisters, Mrs. Myrrel Vodopich of Lead, S.D., Mrs. Clarence Kellog of Rio Linda, Calif., and Mrs. Arthur Mahnke of Lusk.

Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery.

He was buried in September 1953 at Lusk Cemetery, Lusk, Niobrara Co., WY, Findagrave #26875072.

     Rachel Pawling was born on 11 July 1764 at Skippack Twp., Montgomery Co., PA. She married George Reiff on 7 April 1784 at Skippack Twp., Montgomery Co., PA. Rachel Pawling died on 14 March 1848 at Montgomery Co., PA, at age 83.

     Helena Augusta Pawlisch was born on 30 August 1887 at Germany. She married Phillip Gustave Habig on 22 December 1909 at Allen Co., IN. Helena Augusta Pawlisch died on 23 February 1939 at age 51. She was buried in February 1939 at Lindenwood Cemetery, Ft. Wayne, Allen Co., IN, Findagrave #93591140.

     Cyrus C. Paxson was born on 4 January 1823 at Ohio.¹ He married Achsah Peacock. Cyrus C. Paxson died on 3 January 1903 at age 79. He was buried in January 1903 at Foster Cemetery, Topeka, Shawnee Co., KS, Findagrave #53585352.

     Elsie L. Paxson was born on 5 April 1888 at Jay Co., IN. She was the daughter of John Riley Paxson and Harriet M. Swigert. Elsie L. Paxson died on 18 August 1895 at Jay Co., IN, at age 7.

     Emma Ellen Paxson was born on 14 December 1864 at Ohio per 1900 census. Headstone shows 1866.¹ She was the daughter of Ezariah Paxson and Susannah Dellinger. Emma Ellen Paxson married Homer Stewart, son of John Hugh Stewart and Susan Swigart, on 29 March 1882 at Greene Co., OH. Emma Ellen Paxson died on 19 September 1937 at Greene Co., OH, at age 72. She was buried in September 1937 at Fairfield Cemetery, Fairborn, Greene Co., OH, Findagrave #39027510.

     Ernest L. Paxson was born on 27 May 1876 at Jay Co., IN. He was the son of John Riley Paxson and Harriet M. Swigert. Ernest L. Paxson died on 28 September 1878 at Jay Co., IN, at age 2.

     Ezariah Paxson was born circa 1822 at Ohio.¹ He married Susannah Dellinger, daughter of John Dellinger and Sarah (?), on 23 October 1847 at Greene Co., OH.²

     John Riley Paxson was born on 21 July 1848 at Penn, Jay Co., IN. He was the son of Cyrus C. Paxson and Achsah Peacock. John Riley Paxson married Harriet M. Swigert, daughter of Peter Swigert and Rebecca Tobias, on 3 March 1869 at Jay Co., IN. John Riley Paxson died on 10 October 1923 at age 75.      Lavinia Catherine Paxson was born on 22 February 1857 at Greene Co., OH. She was the daughter of Ezariah Paxson and Susannah Dellinger.¹ Lavinia Catherine Paxson married Isaac Stewart, son of John Hugh Stewart and Susan Swigart.      Caswell Prewitt Paxton was born on 14 June 1859 at Missouri 1900 census shows 1860, however 1860 census, Hurricane, Lincoln County, Missouri shows him as 1 year old. Death certificate also shows 1859.¹ He was the son of Luke Haff Paxton and Mary Ann Prewitt.² Caswell Prewitt Paxton married Elizabeth Vaughan, daughter of Almond Thomas Vaughan and Margaret Lucille Swain, circa 1887.¹ Caswell Prewitt Paxton died on 3 December 1948 at Mineral Springs Hospital, Louisiana, Pike Co., MO, at age 89.      James A. Paxton was born on 13 September 1788 at Rockbridge Co., VA. He married Maria Marshall, daughter of Alexander Keith Marshall and Mary McDowell, in 1811. James A.
