George A. Pease was born circa 1907 at Illinois.1 He married Marian Sword, daughter of George Harrison Sword and Lillian May Werntz, on 3 December 1938 at Maquoketa, Jackson Co., IA; second marriage for both parties. Marian was "Mrs. Marian Lambert" -- can't find a record of the first marriage or Mr. Lambert's first name. Based on these circumstances, it appears unlikely that George Pease was the biological father of Marian's two daughters, Sandra and Georgia, although they took the Pease surname. DLB 2020.
