     Emily Pearson was born on 12 April 1846 at Reading, Berks Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Charles M. Pearson and Sarah Price Davis.¹ Emily Pearson married Dr. Daniel W. Bland, son of Edward Bland and Mary (?), on 28 October 1868, Ceremony by Rev. William P. Lewis.¹

     Harry Pearson was born circa December 1879. He was the son of Samuel C. Pearson and Anna M. Starr. Harry Pearson died before 1900.

     Henry E. Pearson was born in 1893 at Illinois per headstone. 1940 census shows age 48.¹ He married Alice Johnson. Henry E. Pearson died in 1959. He was buried in 1959 at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, Kane Co., IL, Findagrave #153160760.

     John Richard Pearson was born on 3 May 1922 at Aurora, Kane Co., IL.¹ He was the son of Henry E. Pearson and Alice Johnson.¹ John Richard Pearson lived on 2 April 1940 at 553 Charles Street, Aurora, Kane Co., IL.¹ He began military service on 14 September 1942 WW II service, Enlisted, U.S. Army Air Corps, re-enlisted 24 DEC 1943, discharged 11 JUN 1945.

He married Jeanne Ellen Mellquist, daughter of Axel Mellquist and Edith Stevens. John Richard Pearson died on 28 September 2000 at age 78. He was buried in October 2000 at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington, Cook Co., IL, Findagrave #67262229.

     Lawrence Pearson married Ester Massey.

     Margery Pearson was born on 14 May 1726 at Chester Co., PA. She was the daughter of Lawrence Pearson and Ester Massey. Margery Pearson married Moses Starr, son of Moses Starr and Deborah King, on 20 June 1753 at Maiden Creek, Berks Co., PA. Margery Pearson died after 1797.

     Mary Miles Pearson was born on 18 March 1846 at Tipp City, Miami Co., OH. She married William Brumfield Ketner, son of Eli Ketner and Mary Jane Brumfield, on 18 October 1877 at Springdale, Cedar Co., IA. Mary Miles Pearson died on 24 November 1927 at Denver, Denver Co., CO, at age 81.

     Nellie Helen Pearson was born circa 1883 at Ayreshire, Scotland.¹ She married John Edward Gearhart, son of Douglas George Gearhart and Ruth Ella Willhide, on 28 October 1919 at Deer Lodge, Powell Co., MT. Nellie Helen Pearson lived on 2 January 1920 at Wallula Precinct, Walla Walla Co., WA.¹ She died on 22 December 1920 at College Place, Walla Walla Co., WA.

     Paul W. Pearson was born in August 1890 at West Whiteland Twp., Chester Co., PA, 1900 census p.212A. He was the son of Samuel C. Pearson and Anna M. Starr.

     Pearl Pearson was the daughter of Mamie Windle. Pearl Pearson died in 1966 at Seagoville, Dallas Co., TX.

     Phoebe Pearson was born on 2 October 1719 at Goshen, Chester Co., PA. She was the daughter of Lawrence Pearson and Ester Massey. Phoebe Pearson married Merrick Starr, son of Moses Starr and Deborah King, in October 1743 at Chester Co., PA. Phoebe Pearson died on 23 September 1784 at age 64.

     Raymond Siegle Pearson was born on 12 February 1905 at Douglas Co., KS.¹ He was the son of Robert S. Pearson and Cena Lillis Prather.² Raymond Siegle Pearson married Mary Katherine Randel, daughter of Charles Frederick Randel and Ada Belle DaVault, on 2 April 1927 at Olathe, Johnson Co., KS. Raymond Siegle Pearson died on 21 March 2005 at Baldwin City, Douglas Co., KS, at age 100 dates per SSDI. He was buried in March 2005 at Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin City, Douglas Co., KS.

     Richard D. Pearson was born on 26 December 1954 at Washington, Washington Co., IA; son of Gordon and Rosalie Emma (Smith) Pearson. Occupation: employed as a welder at Vittetoe, Inc., Keota, Iowa, for 27 years. He died on 17 March 2009 at age 54

SOUTH ENGLISH - Richard D. Pearson, 54, of South English, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, following a sudden illness.

Dick was born Dec. 26, 1954, in Washington, Iowa, to Gordon and Rosalie (Smith) Pearson, and graduated from Keota High School in 1973. Dick was employed as a welder at Vittetoe, Inc. for the past 27 years. On Sept. 27, 1997, he married Debra Moubry, daughter of Gary and Karen Moubry, of Vinton. Dick and Deb worked together with the American Youth Soccer organization, coaching soccer for young children in the community for over 14 years. Dick was an avid Hawkeye fan and attended football games and traveled to many bowl games with his family. When he wasn't wearing black and gold, he wore green and gold and could be found cheering for the Green Bay Packers. Dick's other interests included country western dance, history trivia and physical fitness. He was a devoted husband and father and spent weekends camping, fishing and traveling with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Deb of South English; three children, Jennifer Pearson of Des Moines, Katlyn Pearson of North Liberty and Matthew Pearson of North Liberty; two sisters, Linda See and husband James of Mason City and Sue Pearson of Iowa City; sister-in-law, Laurie Spalding and husband Glenn of Vinton; nieces, Rachel and Mara Spalding; and nephew, Luke Moubry, his wife Sara, and daughter Natalie. Also surviving are his two beagles, Benny and Matilda.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Rosalie Pearson.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, with the Rev. Connie Wacht officiating. Burial will be in Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Iowa County Humane Society, a soccer scholarship or the Iowa County Nature Center at Lake Iowa.

     Samuel C. Pearson married Anna M. Starr, daughter of James Shelly Starr and Hannah A. Rogers. Samuel C. Pearson was born in 1851. He lived in 1880 at West Whiteland Twp., Chester Co., PA, Census p.213B. He died on 21 December 1925.

     Sarah Pearson was the daughter of Thomas Pearson and Lydia Parrott Cox.

     Stella Mae Pearson was born on 5 January 1915 at Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Aaron Chester Pearson and Barbara Ellen Varner.² Stella Mae Pearson married Harmon Jacob Swigart, son of Henry Valentine Swigart and Emmaline Coy, circa 1930. Stella Mae Pearson died in June 1993 at Miami Co., OH, at age 78 dates per SSDI.

     Thomas Pearson married Lydia Parrott Cox. Thomas Pearson was born on 3 January 1755. He married Sarah Starr, daughter of John Starr and Eunice Lord, on 22 November 1780 at Maiden Creek Meeting, Chester Co., PA. Thomas Pearson died on 6 July 1828 at age 73.

     Thomas Pearson was the son of Thomas Pearson and Lydia Parrott Cox.

     Anna Elizabeth Pease was born on 1 June 1848 at Montgomery Co., OH. She married Horace Gates Phillips in 1875. Anna Elizabeth Pease died on 20 April 1921 at Berkeley, Alameda Co., CA, at age 72.

     Elizabeth Grace Pease was born in April 1863 at Maryland.¹ She married John Henry Hillman on 2 March 1881 at Poweshiek Co., IA.

     George A. Pease was born circa 1907 at Illinois.¹ He married Marian Sword, daughter of George Harrison Sword and Lillian May Werntz, on 3 December 1938 at Maquoketa, Jackson Co., IA; second marriage for both parties. Marian was "Mrs. Marian Lambert" -- can't find a record of the first marriage or Mr. Lambert's first name. Based on these circumstances, it appears unlikely that George Pease was the biological father of Marian's two daughters, Sandra and Georgia, although they took the Pease surname. DLB 2020.

     Georgia Ann Pease was born on 19 August 1936 at Freeport, Stephenson Co. (probably), IL.¹ She was the daughter of Marian Sword.¹ Georgia Ann Pease married (?) Tinley. Georgia Ann Pease married Alvin Ernst Kolthoff on 5 August 1978 at Sarasota Co., FL. Georgia Ann Pease and Alvin Ernst Kolthoff were divorced on 29 January 1979 at Sarasota Co., FL. Georgia Ann Pease lived between 1988 and 2014 at Panama City Beach, Bay Co., FL. She lived in 2015 at Venice, Sarasota Co., FL. She died on 14 November 2017 at Venice, Sarasota Co., FL, at age 81.

     Almond White Peasley was born on 13 August 1822 at Goshen, NH. He was the son of Mark Peasley and Lucy Blood. Almond White Peasley married Sarah Elizabeth Windell, daughter of Samuel Windell and Sarah Elizabeth Eustis, circa 1879. Almond White Peasley died on 24 May 1904 at Thompson, Hancock Co., IA, at age 81.

     Ronald Christopher Peaton was born on 4 January 2001 at Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co., TX. He died on 6 January 2001 at Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co., TX. He was buried in January 2001 at Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories, Abilene, Taylor Co., TX, Findagrave #181280989.

Lena Pech married Louis Elmer Larimore, son of Andrew Jackson Larimore and Caroline Anthony, on 18 May 1912 at Tazewell Co., IL. Lena Pech died on 15 February 1994 at Delavan, Tazewell Co., IL, at age 99.
