     Dewey Petty was born circa 1901. He was the son of Marion Petty and Lillian L. Larimore. Dewey Petty died Died in infancy.

     Donald Robert Petty was born on 14 October 1922 at Mt. Carroll, Carroll Co., IL. He was the son of Robert Stanley Petty and Mabel Ruth Fulrath. Donald Robert Petty married Georgia Lou Warne, daughter of Col. Dallas G. Warne and Eulalia Seright. Donald Robert Petty died on 9 April 1956 at Shannon, Carroll Co., IL, at age 33.      Edith Jane Petty married Eugene Edward Gibler, son of Daniel Jackson Gibler and Margaret Elizabeth Hout, in 1919 at Lawrence, Douglas Co., KS.

     Helen Alma Petty was born on 9 June 1927 at Ohio. She married Clark S. Bair Jr., son of Clark S. Bair and Katherine May Webb, in 1946, no children. Married and divorced twice, Helen remarried to Robert L. Collins. Helen Alma Petty died on 7 April 2015 at Troy, Miami Co., OH, at age 87.

     Ivan G. Petty was born on 27 January 1930. He was the son of Jacob Ivan Petty and Mary Neikirk. Cause of death: on 18 January 1969 : died in an Air Force B-52 bomber that exploded in flight over Utah. Ivan G. Petty died on 18 January 1969 at Utah at age 38.

     Jacob Ivan Petty was buried at Lakeside Cemetery, Pekin, Tazewell Co., IL. He was born on 8 June 1904. He was the son of Marion Petty and Lillian L. Larimore. Jacob Ivan Petty married Mary Neikirk on 18 September 1929. Jacob Ivan Petty died on 20 January 1989 at age 84.

     James Franklin Petty was born on 28 August 1931 at Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ; son of Francis Marion and Virginia Ione (Cole) Petty. He began military service Korean War service, U.S. Navy. He lived in 1993 at Santa Rosa, Sonoma Co., CA. He died on 24 September 2004 at age 73. He was buried in 2004 at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, Santa Rosa, Sonoma Co., CA, Findagrave #108702040.

     Katherine Petty was born circa 1898. She was the daughter of Marion Petty and Lillian L. Larimore. Katherine Petty died in infancy.

     Katherine Ann Petty was born on 19 February 1962. She was the daughter of Marion Lester Petty Jr. and Ruth Evelyn Betts. Katherine Ann Petty died on 7 January 1985 at age 22

Mrs. Katherine A. Weaver, 22, of Jackson died Monday, January 7 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center after a brief illness. Services were at 11:00 a.m. January 9, Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Jackson Memorial Gardens.

She was a native and a lifelong resident of Jackson. She was a 1980 graduate of Provine High School and had attended Hinds Junior College. She was a member of Timberlawn Baptist Church and an employee of Allstate Insurance Company for the past three years.

Her mother, Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Betts Petty, died May 7, 1984 and was buried in Odd fellows Cemetery, Lexington.

Mrs. Weaver is survived by her father, Marion L. Petty of Jackson, formerly of Lexington; two sisters, Mrs. Janet P. Lutrick and Mrs. Anita Ruth Rogers, both of Jackson; one niece and one nephew.

     Marion Petty was born on 17 August 1867. He married Lillian L. Larimore, daughter of John Wesley Larimore and Catherine Jackson, on 1 October 1891. Cause of death: in 1935 Heart attack while driving tractor. Marion Petty died on 4 June 1935 at age 67.

     Marion Lester Petty Jr. was born on 12 January 1927 at Tchula, Holmes Co., MS. He married Ruth Evelyn Betts, daughter of Wilbert Herbert Betts and Rena V. Cox. Marion Lester Petty Jr. died on 25 June 1993 at Jackson, Hinds Co., MS, at age 66 Obituary (Findagrave.com):

Marion Lester Petty, Jr., 66, of Jackson, a retired engineering inspector, died of heart failure Friday, June 25 at Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Services were held at 12:30 Monday, June 28 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with 3 p.m. graveside services at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. Petty, a Tchula native, was a former Lexington resident and had lived in Jackson 43 years. He was a graduate of Holmes Community College. He worked for the City of Jackson Water Works Department for 29 years before retiring.

Survivors include: daughters, Anita Ruth Rogers and Janet Leslie Lutrick, both of Jackson; sister, Jean Terry of Yazoo City; and a granddaughter.

Memorials may go to the First Church the Nazarene, the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Fund.

Mount Carroll -- Robert Petty, 76, of Mount Carroll, died Tuesday (January 1980, according to the Social Security Death Index) at Freeport Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was a member of Mount Carroll United Methodist Church.

Born Feb. 28, 1903 in Carroll County, he was the son of Charles and Della (Ross) Petty. He married Dorothy Meyers July 29, 1961 in Mount Carroll. Surviving are his widow; two stepsons, Tom Meyers of Columbia, Md., and Steve Meyers of Boston, Mass; one step-daughter, Mrs. Judy (Robert) Duncan of Brandon, Fla; two grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren;; and two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Helen) Johnson of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Margaret Adell of San Diego, Calif. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mabel and one son.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Frank Funeral Home in Mount Carroll with the Rev. Tony Hawkins, pastor of Mount Carroll United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Mount Carroll. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for Mount Carroll United Methodist Church.

     Sarah Edna Petty was born on 13 April 1894. She was the daughter of Marion Petty and Lillian L. Larimore. Sarah Edna Petty married John Dunker on 15 November 1915. Sarah Edna Petty died on 9 March 1965 at age 70.

     Agnes Petura was also known as "Annischka". She was born in October 1879 at Racine Co., WI.¹ She married Frank Korbel. Agnes Petura died on 6 October 1967. She was buried in October 1967 at Bohemian National Cemetery, Caledonia, Racine Co., WI, Findagrave #105170567.

     Andrew Jackson Peugh was born in September 1863 at Washington Co., IN.¹ He was the son of Spencer Botts Peugh and Jane Logan.² Andrew Jackson Peugh married Mary Etta Peugh, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Peugh and Sarah A. Plummer, circa 1885. Andrew Jackson Peugh married Endora Alice Payne, daughter of Henry Rice Payne and Caroline Davis, circa 1888; two children born (Olivia and Bertha), both living as of 1910 census. Curtis Everett Peugh was apparently the son of Andrew J. Peugh from a prior relationship.^1,3 Andrew Jackson Peugh lived on 2 May 1910 at Salem, Washington Co., IN.³ He lived in 1915 at Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS.⁴ He married Lillis Gertrude Maddux after 1915.⁵ Andrew Jackson Peugh lived in January 1920 at 1801 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS.⁵

     Benjamin Franklin Peugh was born on 28 February 1832 at Washington Co., IN.¹ He married Sarah A. Plummer on 20 September 1859 at Brownstown, IN.¹

     Bertha C. Peugh was born in December 1891 at Washington Co. (probably), IN.¹ She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Peugh and Endora Alice Payne.¹

There is a strong possibility that Bertha, wife of Ralph Arthur Galloway, found in the 1920 census of Hutchinson (Ward 1), Kansas, the 1930 census of St. Louis (Dist. 26), Missouri, and the 1940 census of Washington, D.C. (ED 1-397) was Bertha Peugh. Cannot locate any further evidence at this date. They had a daughter Martha E. Galloway, born about 1919, who died in 2011 in California -- that death cert should show the mother's maiden name. DLB 2013.

     Curtis Everett Peugh was born on 1 September 1886 at Washington Co. (probably), IN, 1900 census shows 1885, WW I draft card shows 1886.¹ He was the son of Andrew Jackson Peugh and Mary Etta Peugh.¹ Occupation: Building contractor, self-employed in 1917. Curtis Everett Peugh lived in June 1917 at 31 East 13th Street, Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS. He lived between 1920 and 1930 at Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS.

     Mary Etta Peugh was born on 21 June 1864 at Washington Co., IN.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Peugh and Sarah A. Plummer.¹ Mary Etta Peugh married Andrew Jackson Peugh, son of Spencer Botts Peugh and Jane Logan, circa 1885. Mary Etta Peugh died on 17 September 1886 at Washington Co., IN, at age 22.

     Nancy Adeline Peugh married James B. Godfrey.

     Olivia Esther Peugh was born in February 1889 at Washington Co. (probably), IN.¹ She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Peugh and Endora Alice Payne.¹ Olivia Esther Peugh died on 19 November 1920 at age 31. She was buried in November 1920 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem, Washington Co., IN.

     Spencer Botts Peugh was born circa 1815 at Kentucky.¹ He married Jane Logan on 18 October 1838.¹ Spencer Botts Peugh died in 1890 at Washington Co., IN.

     Elizabeth Jane Pevehouse was born on 25 June 1845 at Brown Co., IN.¹ She married Ambrose Booten Ramey circa 1863.¹ Elizabeth Jane Pevehouse died in 1920. She was buried in 1920 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, Findagrave #73068208.
