Piper died on 22 April 1936 at Westmoreland Co., PA, at age 62. She was buried in April 1936 at Vandergrift Cemetery, Vandergrift, Westmoreland Co., PA, Findagrave #79514118.

Pippin married Ethel Emily Gillmore, daughter of Jacob Elmer Gillmore and Verdia Ellena Mae Weaver, on 25 July 1934. Robert A. Pippin and Ethel Emily Gillmore were divorced before 1964. Robert A.
