     Frederick Louis Prettner was born on 3 December 1920 at Duluth, St. Louis Co., MN, WW II draft registration. He married Virginia M. Preston, daughter of Edwin Forrest Preston and Cora Ellen Williams, circa 1943, no children. Frederick was unmarried as of February 1942 when he registered for the draft at Duluth, MN. Frederick Louis Prettner died on 2 May 2013 at age 92.

     Henry M. Pretty married Lena S. Jecker.

     Willetta Marie Pretty was also known as "Billie". She was born on 29 August 1904 at Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. She was the daughter of Henry M. Pretty and Lena S. Jecker. Willetta Marie Pretty married Odus Earl Robertson, son of Odus Marion Robertson and Mellie Z. Money, circa 1922. Willetta Marie Pretty died on 25 February 1998 at Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at age 93.

     John Roy Prewett was born on 15 December 1960. He was the son of Roy Emil Prewett. John Roy Prewett was buried in 1977 at Marshall Cemetery, Marshall, Clark Co., IL. He died on 24 February 1977 at age 16.

     Roy Emil Prewett was born on 14 February 1924.

     Mary Ann Prewitt was born on 14 August 1825 at Scott Co., KY.¹ She married Luke Haff Paxton on 24 January 1845 at Lincoln Co., MO. Mary Ann Prewitt died on 30 September 1903 at Pike Co., MO, at age 78.

     Felix B. Prezbeski was born on 11 June 1909 at Ohio Co. (probably), WV.¹ He was the son of Frank Przybyszewski and Victoria Klobukowski.¹ Felix B. Prezbeski married Naomi Ethel LeFevre, daughter of Franklin Tritt LeFevre and Sophia Grace Agnew, on 28 June 1939. Felix B. Prezbeski married Elizabeth Sokoll. Felix B. Prezbeski died on 3 October 1988 at Dillonvale, Jefferson Co., OH, at age 79 dates per SSDI.

     Abel Price was born on 11 February 1874 at Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Rev. Jacob Moyer Price and Katherine Overholtzer.¹ Abel Price married Alice Seisholtz in 1900, No children.¹

     Dr. Abel Fitzwater Price was born on 13 December 1847 at Lawrenceville (now Parkerford), PA.¹ He was the son of William H. Price and Hannah Detwiler.¹ Dr. Abel Fitzwater Price married Clara L. Wollaston on 27 December 1883, One child, died soon after birth.¹

     Abraham Price was born in 1792 at Franklin Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Rev. Jacob Price and Susanna Baker. Abraham Price married Catharine (?) circa 1821. Abraham Price married Elizabeth Heck after 1832.¹ Abraham Price married Rebecca Stees on 8 March 1855 at Carroll Co., IL, Illinois Statewide Marriage Index: 1855-03-08 OMR/0099 00000570 CARROLL.

Abraham Price died in 1876 at Carroll Co., IL, He received a deed from his father, June 4, 1830, for 192 acres and 127 perches of land in Washington Township, Cumberland County (afterward Franklin County) Pa., and on same date he, with his wife Catharine, deeded the same to George Fahnestock for $10,000. (See Deed Book 15, page 125, Chambersburg.) All parties mentioned therein as living in Allen Township, Cumberland Co. Mr. Price is said to have been a teamster between Baltimore and Pittsburgh, later became a miller. He settled in Carroll County, Ill. in 1854.²

     Abraham Price was born Wanger lists Abraham between brothers Jacob and John, however Wanger also indicates 1765 birth years for both Jacob and John, so Abraham's actual position in the birth order was clearly unkown.      Abraham A. Price was born on 22 February 1866 at Upper Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Abraham G. Price and Sophia Auchy. Abraham A. Price married Anna C. Greasing, daughter of Charles Greasing and Anna Barbara Engel, on 17 May 1888.¹ Abraham A. Price lived in 1926 at 3013 N. Sydenham Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA.¹

     Abraham D. Price was born on 14 March 1835 at North Coventry Twp., Chester Co., PA, Born and raised on the old Price homestead in North Coventry.¹ He was the son of Rev. John R. Price and Catherine Detweiler. Abraham D. Price began military service on 26 September 1861 70th Regiment, 6th Penn. Cavalry. Promoted from Qr. M. Sgt. to 2nd Lt., Co. I, 22 Apr 1862, to 1st Lt., Co. F, 26 May 1863, to Capt., Co. I, 11 Apr 1864, to Major, 22 Mar 1865; transferred to 2nd Pro. Cavalry as Lt. Col, 17 Jun 1865.² He married Mary W. Jones, daughter of Benjamin W. Jones and A. Nancy Cowan.¹ Abraham D. Price died on 26 September 1906 at Hoboken, NJ, at age 71.

     Abraham G. Price was born on 12 December 1829 at Montgomery Co., PA.¹ He was the son of George Kline Price and Mary Gargas. Abraham G. Price married Sophia Auchy, daughter of John Auchy and Catherine Groff.¹ Abraham G. Price died on 5 March 1906 at age 76 Mr. Price was a stationary engineer and learned the trade of Miller at Groff's Mill; operated milles at Morysville, Springmount, Pennsburg, Hartranft's on Swamp Creek, Snyder's at Green Lane, Kulpsville, Mingo, Center Point, Phila.¹

     Abraham Hartzell Price was born on 8 November 1865 at Upper Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Henry G. Price and Susannah Hartzell. Abraham Hartzell Price married Sadie Reiff, daughter of William Detwiler Reiff and Leah Price, on 2 May 1894, Ceremony by Rev. W. H. Burrell.¹ Abraham Hartzell Price lived in 1926 at 630 E. Wishart Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA.¹ He died on 10 February 1945 at age 79. He was buried in February 1945 at Price Cemetery, Montgomery Co., PA, Findagrave #70488835.

     Abraham Lincoln Price was born on 11 June 1865 at Franklin Co., PA. He was the son of Jacob S. Price and Rachel Davis. Abraham Lincoln Price married Anna M. Stephey, daughter of George W. Stephey and Elizabeth Mickley.

     Abraham Moyer Price was born on 5 November 1848.¹ He was the son of Abraham H. Price and Elizabeth Moyer.² Abraham Moyer Price married Susan Swartley Alderfer, daughter of Jacob Alderfer and Susan Swartley, on 21 November 1874.¹ Abraham Moyer Price died on 12 January 1912 at age 63 Mr. Price was killed by being kicked in the face by one of his horses. "He conducted the large farm, which is known as the Price homestead, it having been his father's before him. He was a very successful farmer. He reared a large family and was a devoted husband and a kind and indulgent father, a loving neighbor, always lending a helping hand, and ready in helping the wants of others." Schwenkville Item.
As before stated, Mr. Price obtained title to the homestead in 1881 and after his death it was farmed by his widow and children until in 1926 it is about to be conveyed to the Price Homestead Association. Brethren.

     Abram B. Price was born on 6 December 1895.¹ He was the son of Warren H. Price and Lydia M. Booz.¹ Abram B. Price married Ella C. Young, daughter of Daniel Price Young and Rosalinda Cassel, on 15 February 1913 at Montgomery Co., PA.¹ Abram B. Price died in 1976.

     Abram Emmert Price was born on 26 August 1837 at Waynesboro, Quincy Twp., Franklin Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Jacob Baker Price and Susannah Emmert. Abram Emmert Price married Elizabeth Stover, daughter of John Stover and Mary Deardorf, on 31 January 1862.¹ Abram Emmert Price was Church of the Brethren.

"Abraham E. Price was reared on the farm and attended the country schools. He left the farm in 1870 and went to Waynesboro, where he has since resided. Soon after he located there he became connected with the Geiser Mfg. Co., working first in the wood department for two years. He was next given charge of the repair department and then bought and inspected lumber for several years. Previous to the death of Daniel Geiser he was made Assistant Superintendent. In 1888, he became President of the Company, a position he held for the succeeding two years, when he resigned, though he is still a director. He was one of the organizers of the Emmert Mfg. Co. of which he is President and was also one of the organizers of the Bank of Waynesboro, of which he has been vice president from the first."

Mr. Price began farming soon after his marriage in the early part of the Civil War. At the time of the Confederate invasion he had some forty odd head of cattle taken by the army under Gen. Kearly. Mr. Price had removed all his horses from the farm with the exception of one mare; this was taken and the officer in charge left a due bill for Mr. Price for $80, payable sixty days after the ratification of a treaty of peace. The loss of the cattle was a severe blow to Mr. Price as these were purchased at farm sales a few months before on credit. Church of the Brethren. 137 W. Main St., Waynesboro, Pa. Abram Emmert Price, one of Waynesboro's oldest and best known residents, died suddenly this morning at 2 o’clock at his home at 137 West Main street. He was 90 years old on August 26, having been born in 1837.

A stroke is believed to have been the immediate cause of death although he had been in ill health due to a kidney condition for some time.

He had been about the house as usual yesterday and in the afternoon complained of not feeling well. He retired at 7 o’clock and fell asleep at 10 o’clock, from which sleep he never wakened.

His son, J. Stover Price, and grandson, Emmert Price, were with him when death came.

Mr. Price had been identified with the business affairs of Waynesboro practically all of his life. He went with the Geiser Manufacturing company when it was organized and while there, at different times, held the positions of foreman, assistant superintendent and superintendent. In 1888 he was elected president of the company and was identified with the Geiser firm until a short time before the plant was taken over by the Emerson-Brantingham company. After the fire of 1882 which destroyed the original plant, Mr. Price superintended the erection of the present buildings.

He was one of the organizers of the Emmert Manufacturing company, also the Bank of Waynesboro. At the time of his death he was one of the vice presidents and directors of the First National Bank and Trust Company. He served as a member of borough council at one time. Practically all his life he had been an active member of the Church of the Brethren.
He was a member of the Republican party all his life. His first vote cast was for President Lincoln and he had voted at every presidential election since that time.

Mr. Price was born on the Price homestead north of town, the son of Jacob and Susan (Emmert) Price. On January 31, 1862, he married Elizabeth Stover who died December 30, 1916.
For eight years after he was married he continued farming on the home place, coming to Waynesboro in 1870. He was farming at the time of the Civil War and during the Confederate invasion troops under General Early took 40 of his cattle, also one horse, he having removed all the other horses before the troops put in their appearance. For the horse that was taken an officer gave Mr. Price a due bill of $80 payable 60 days after ratification of the treaty of peace.

There survive the following children: Mrs. Daniel Stoner, Harvey S. Price, Benjamin W. Price, and J. Stover Price, all of Waynesboro; a half-sister, Mrs. Prudence Barr, South Potomac avenue; also eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon with services at the house at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in Green Hill cemetery.
