     PRICE, ELMER A., s. of Abraham M. & Susanna. b. Aug. 9, 1888; d. July 24, 1889, a. 11 mo.15d. Elmer A. Price was born on 9 August 1888 at Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Abraham Moyer Price and Susan Swartley Alderfer. Elmer A. Price died on 24 July 1889 at Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., PA, Mr. Price, after graduating from the public schools of Lower Salford, attended Perkiomen Seminary and West Chester State Normal School. Since then he has been a most highly esteemed teacher of this county, having recently been appointed an enrolling secretary of the County Institute at Norristown. He led a noble Christian life and at the time of his death was superintendent of the Lederach Sunday School, where he will be greatly missed. He was appointed Justice of the Peace of the township in which he resided (L. Salford) and was also a member of the Board of Road Supervisors as well as their secretary. Both positions he filled very creditably. (Montg. Transcript, Oct. 31, 1918). Church of the Brethren.¹ He was buried in July 1889 at Price Farm, Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., PA.
