Funeral services for George C. Purnell, 67, of 9520 Eighth Ave. N. E., will be held at 3 o’clock tomorrow in Forkner’s chapel with burial in Washelli. He died Tuesday in a hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Purnell, an interior decorator, came to Seattle 15 years ago from his birthplace, David City, Nebraska. He was past master of Atkinson Lodge No. 164, F. and A. M., Atkinson, Neb. He was a member of the Building Service Employees Union.
Surviving are his wife, Verna; three daughters, Mrs. B. W. Mueller and Mrs. Ralph I Davis, both of Seattle, and Mrs. F. W. Withers, Omaha, Neb; a son, Clifford R.
