     Capt. Henry Detweiler Price was born on 17 August 1843 at North Coventry Twp., Chester Co., PA. He was the son of Rev. John R. Price and Catherine Detweiler. Capt. Henry Detweiler Price died on 27 October 1864 at Petersburg, VA, at age 21 From "Bates' Martial Deeds of Penna.":

Late on the afternoon of the 27th of October 1864, Gen. Mulholland, then commanding a Brigade, received orders to storm a Rebel fort in front of his line. One hundered men of the 148th Penna. were selected for the storming party. Capt. Henry D. Price, who at the time was Adgt. General of the Brigade, insisted on accompnying it, drawing his sword, he handed the scabbard to Lieut. Lee, saying, "Tom, if I am killed, send this home to my mother." When the order to charge was given, he leaped the works and ran in front of his troops, to the enemy's line, where he fell shot through the head. Thus expired one of the bravest, most unassuming, gentle, beloved and accomplished young officers of the Army."

On September 21, 1894, Gen. St. Clair Mulholland, in speaking of Capt. Price said:

"On the night in October when he was killed, I was going to make a charge on the fort, and he was bound to go.
'You may court-marital me, general, but I'm going to go. You can see to that after the fight.'
Strangely enough, the boy took off his sword, and he said to a brother officer, 'If anything happens to me, give this to my mother.'
I couldn't see the lad, but could hear him in the thick of the fight: 'This way men: This way!' But the voice soon ceased to be heard, and the next morning the brave boy was found by a man who recognized him as one of the Irish brigade, and he was wrapped in a blanket and buried, but we soon found him and brought him home."¹

     Henry G. Price was Church of the Brethren.¹ He was born on 22 June 1823 at Montgomery Co., PA.¹ He was the son of George Kline Price and Mary Gargas. Henry G.      Henry H. Price was born on 18 January 1859 at Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Henry G. Price and Susannah Hartzell. Henry H. Price married Susanna M. Fretz, daughter of Joseph C. Fretz and Olivia Musselman, on 27 November 1880, Ceremony by Rev. William Fox.¹ Henry H. Price lived in 1926 at 318 East Broad Street, Souderton, Montgomery Co., PA.¹

     Dr. Henry Price M.D. was born on 18 June 1833 at Franklin Co., PA. He was the son of Jacob Price and Catharine Dull. Dr. Henry Price M.D. died on 18 June 1894 at age 61.

     Herman O. Price was born on 9 January 1871 at Frederick Co., MD. He was the son of John Emmert Price and Mary Catherine Ordeman. Herman O. Price died on 7 January 1891 at Frederick Co., MD, at age 19. He was buried in January 1891 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, Frederick Co., MD, Findagrave #156348945.

     Howard LeRoy Price was born on 24 September 1893 at Pine Creek Twp., Ogle Co., IL.¹ He was the son of Rev. Collin Carroll Price and Alice L. Stuff. Howard LeRoy Price died on 24 April 1920 at age 26.

     Ida Price was born on 28 August 1866 at Summit Co. (probably), OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Abraham Price and Mary Carpenter.¹ Ida Price married William Coar, son of Thomas Coar and Margaret (?), in 1888.¹

     Ida Alderfer Price was born on 20 June 1878 at Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Abraham Moyer Price and Susan Swartley Alderfer. Ida Alderfer Price married Rev. Emmanuel N. Cassel, son of Jonas M. Cassel and Catharine Nice, on 15 May 1897, Ceremony peformed by Rev. Henry A. Price.² Ida Alderfer Price died on 10 March 1957 at age 78.

     Ida Matilda Price was born on 10 September 1885 at Lancaster, Lancaster Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Edward F. Price and Catherine Bartley. Ida Matilda Price lived at 247 Annapolis Road, Westport, Baltimore, Baltimore Co., MD.¹

     Rev. Isaac Price lived at Corner Stores, Schuylkill Twp., Chester Co., PA, Was appointed postmater of Corner Stores by President Jackson in 1832 and retained that position until 1882.¹ He was born on 24 September 1802 at North Coventry Twp., Chester Co., PA. He was the son of Rev. John Price and Mary Rinehart. Rev. Isaac Price married Hannah Umstead, daughter of Jonas Umstead and Catharine Horning. Rev. Isaac Price died on 20 October 1884 at age 82.
