     Juanita Quesenberry was also known as "Nita". She was born on 17 August 1921 at Deary, Latah Co., ID; daughter of William P. and Virginia (Brannon) Quesenberry. She married John Winston Gibney, son of Otto Warren Gibney and Ruth G. DaVault, on 2 January 1959 at Carson City, NV; no children. Juanita was previously married to Hershel Leslie Ferguson on 5 NOV 1938 at Spokane, WA and divorced with no children before he remarried to Myrtle Grant on 26 OCT 1944 at Mineral County, MT. Juanita remarried to Kenneth L. Thompson on 28 MAR 1945 at Walla Walla, WA and was divorced from him, with no children, before the April 1950 census when she was listed living with her mother and using her maiden name. She had a brief third marriage to Bill John Combs, with a son, Clarence John, born in 1953. Clarence took the Gibney surname -- he may or may not have been legally adopted by his step-father.

Juanita Gibney
The funeral will be Dec. 3 for Juanita "Nita" Gibney of Eugene who died Nov. 29 of heart failure. She was 78.

Gibney was born Aug. 17, 1921 in Deary, Idaho, to William and Virgina Branon Quesenberry.

During World War II, she worked in the shipyards in Longview, Wash., as a "Rosie the Riveter."

In 1958, she married John Gibney in Elko, Nev. He died in 1981.

Gibney lived in Springfield for more than 30 years before moving to El Cajon, Calif., after her husband's death. She moved to Eugene two years ago.

She enjoyed country music and traveling to Arizona.

Survivors include a son, C.J. of Eugene; two brothers, Kenneth Quesenberry of Lewiston, Idaho and Neil Quesenberry of Great Falls, Mont; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. Friday's service will be at noon, also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

She was buried in December 1999 at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Springfield, Lane Co., OR, Findagrave #69815423.

Zenas Bobby Quick, 79, passed away on August 27, 2020. He was born on May 11, 1941 to Charles and Rena Quick in Evansville, Indiana.

Bobby was a hard worker. He enjoyed working as a laborer at Alcan for 17 years. One of his main passions in life was working on cars. Bobby loved spending time with his family and friends.

Bobby is survived by his children Bobby (Amy) Quick, Larry (Angie) Quick, Annette Pope, Chad (Cynthia) Quick, and John Quick; his grandchildren Deona, Kegan (Caitlynn), Michaela, and Kelsey; his great-granchildren Demareonya and Demareon; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Floydene Quick; his parents; and his siblings Irene Adams, Bertha Jones, Harvey Quick, and Nancy McCallister.

He also was the father to a son Robert Boston Quick with Delores J Williamson.
